And never bothered to look up the manual for making a ZPM.

The Ancients made 3 in a day when they returned to Atlantis during the Replicator story arc. I mean, how hard could it be?

    Epic fail. Just epic.

Jup. And like, 20% of the episodes is connected to the storyline of searching for more of them. Lol.

    yeah

and the ancients didnt make 3 in one week, the asuran's carried those 3 aboard their ship

But the atlantis database is odd yeah:

no tactical information from the original ancient-wraith war(except that small holo thingie)
    no info on the ori
    no information about ZPM's
    no information about ancient outposts

It thought that the ascended Ancients removed all of the info on the Ori. A bit like they did with the Asurans.

And afaik, they didn't had them all aboard their ship. I could watch the episode again, but am pretty sure that McKay said they created them. It was about 1 episode after they got Atlantis back, and McKay was talking about how handy it would be to have the ZPM's that the Ancients created.

    Not 100% sure, though.

Not watched it yet. Need to let somebody dl it for me or whatev. I'm getting so sick of not having flash on this freaking expensive phone. >_<

Sounds a bit sucky from what I've heard so far, though. I mean, a guy who games a lot is the genius? **** off. Must have been Robert again who wrote that. He also had something to do with Sunday, I think. So sad. Favourite side character. :,(

Also: do they even use the gate in this show? And how "big" is this ship actually? Prometheus big? Ha'Tak big? O'Neill Asgard Cruiser big? Aurora big? Omg, Bug Replicator big? HIVE BIG? EVEN MOAR!1!!? Lol. GALACTUS' SHIP UBER-BIG HUGE!?

That would be so op, lol.

But seriously, how big is it?

Bigger then the Promethus. And the gate is how they got on it. They unlocked the nineth set of things or w.e, and are about 17 GALAXIES from home.

universe is decent enough, the characters are a little better then the caricatures that inhabit atlantis.

And i would say its about the size of a hive, maybe a little larger

That's like, far. Still quite close for a Stargate. From what I've read, the power source was the problem? Something with the entire planet being needed to power the gate or whatever.

Still, a black hole could power a supergate to another galaxy. They could always make another black hole to power a small gate and connect again. I mean, the Asgard could make them, humans now have all Asgard tech, so why not?

Still, it would fail no matter how awesome the plot is, if they don't come up with a main villain somehow. Voyager sucked because of that. The only good returning arc there was Q, and perhaps the few Borg encounters they had. That's pretty much it. If Universe goes down that road, then I'll only be watching it as a fan, instead of enjoying it like the sci-fi fanatic I am. :p

the planet was needed to power the gate.

And the expedition didnt exactly bring along the asgard supercore, i doubt they are able to create blackholes.

they dont have anything except the stuff they had with them when they fleed.

and of course, the IOA is being a ***** again

yeah, but the only planet on which the 9th chevron worked was kinda blown up.

Also, why the hell does the destiny(the sgu ship) not use hyperspace? What is the point, it isnt faster.

They were in Hyperspace for the first episode. And dropped out of it cause the scientist guy told the ship they were in trouble. So the ship found the nearest planet with things they would need and dropped out of hyperspace.
