did we just have a sudden wave of spambots, or a sudden lack of moderators?

sudden wave of spambots. Basically, one bot figured out we have no flood protection, and since then, they have kept coming and coming.

    Funny story.

If a user has more than fifty posts, their posts can't be mass deleted by mods, only admins. Since LK is MIA, that leaves Jon who has collegiate concerns, so he's not often available.

We can ban them, but since they can literally post near infinite amount of threads in a given amount of time, it's too late.

That doesn't explain why the bots that only made 2 or 3 posts are still there though.

Reminds me of a zombie story I once read.
