Games like this bring great memories. I just wonder what's the price tag like. Some flash games have nearly as good graphics. Gosh, it's coming on PS3 too. Don't see these games on new generation consoles very often.

You know... Maybe you played the shareware version? The full version was announced freeware in 2000 so you can download it. It has tons of levels... I've spent hours on it and i still dont have everything maxed out
They should make a Castlevania with souped up graphics too, and no 3d game, just a sidescroller with great animations! Something for PC or PS3 (and don't whine that castlevania is nintendo only, PSP has a castlevania too.)
The only shoot em up I played for real was Tyrian, mostly thanks to ship upgrade system. I liked the idea of buying new weapons and stuff and you didn't loose all of it after being hit like once. Hope this one has something similar, I'd give it a try for sure! Too bad Tyrian slows down in dosbox for me now :/ I also agree with castlevania idea, I only played GBA ones but they were awesome!
Aria of Sorrow ftw! Got me hooked on the moment. Circle of the Moon is nice too, but I don't really like Harmony of Dissonance. Btw, did you ever play Dawn of Sorrow for the DS? Im really curious if its good.
unfortunately there isn't many good shooters out there. There is Aero-Fighter and 1942 they are pretty decent i guess.
