Hey, did any of you ever watch the original Star Trek series (not the movies, but the actual 50 minute episodes)? I'm wondering what other Star Trek fans are on this forum. Be sure to stop by and tell us what you think of the series, and if you can remember, tell us your favorite episode or scene. I remember this episode where Spock gets his brain removed and he is controlled by a remote control. That one was just so loool. There was a scene, I don't remember which episode it was from that Spock tells an "illogical" crewman: "Not only are your arguments illogical, but are unworthy of reputation" Another one to another "illogical" crewman: Spock: "Your argument is prone with gaping defects in logic" There are many others, I am rewatching the whole series at the moment as I find them, but they are just LOL. So if you can remember any of your favorite scenes or episodes, or if you just freaking love Star Trek at all, post it up!
I did see a few of the original episodes and others when my dad watched them. I think the show is great considering the time it was made and the financial constraints they were placed on. One of the episodes I remember most is the one were a crew members gains a lot of mental power and can kill himself and bring himself back to life, and he becomes corrupted with power and betrays the Enterprise. Kirk kills him at the end of the episode.
What about the one where Spock has to go to Vulcan because he is in the Pon Far and he does a fight to the death with the captain.
Never saw it, I've only seen a few episode in recent years. My dad watched it a lot when I was little, but I either didn't watch it, or forgot about them.
Yes I remember that one. It was something about him having to get married or it was his mating season or something like that right?
I've seen all of the original series, all of DS9, I think all of TNG and all of the first 2 seasons of Voyager, I probably should watch the rest some time. I have only seen a couple episodes of Enterprise.
There are various places to download these episodes. My father downloaded all 3 season via bit torrent, took a day or so to download, but hell, it was worth it.
lol, my dad just baught a set of Star Treck DVD's this summer and contains the entire 1st season. It was about 6 disks long, but we only saw to first 6-7 episodes before we took a break from them.
