    So, just saw it.

    Holy crap.

That was incredible. Best movie of the summer, hands down. I don't think even Transformers will top it. I'm not even really a fan of Star Trek and it was awesome.

Yeah...I would but I got a reputation to protect. Trekies and Star wars fans are social outcast at my school. That's why no one knows I am a huge Star wars fan :p!LoL, but I've never been interested in Star Trek. My mom is a huge treky, she's in her room watching the marathon on sci-fi now. We're taking her to see the movie for mother's day.

Don't quote the guy above you. Or else...

I gotta tell you in a school being the only white boy ( can bench 220 by the way so nobody messes wih me ) in a majorily hispanic school in houston ( the rest is black, i have always been the only white boy since i was 5), we don't eve have cliques. So...do you live in a small town or something? Cause everyone over here is either or, even el cholos, and the bloods. So i mean damn!

I have just started watching star trek because of Sci-fi's marathon so i understand why they like it. it gets pretty watchable after a while.

personally a H_U_G_E star Wars fan so.....Jango kick so much asssssss!

When someone says Star Trek, the first thing that come to my mind is that white bald dude, Data, and that black dude that was blind and had the strip thingy over his eyes.

Patrick Stewart as Jean Luc Picard and Lavar Burton as Geordie LaForge.

    God. How I know that

Watched it....Yes, it was good, and I'm not a Star Trek fan (though I still kinda like the whole concept, just never watched em), though I was depressed that

    Vulcan gets destroyed! Nooo!!

well, this movie is so totally gonna be turned into a series

It would probably even be accepted by some of the old fans(Not the original series), since enterprise, voyager, deep space nine and the next generation all did still happen

also, creepy smile guy from heroes as spock, perfect actor

It was a good movie. I saw Wolverine the day before and... this was better. The original series what the only Star Trek series I'd ever seen any substantial amount of, and I think the movie was very loyal to its style.

I liked the "If I meet my past self, I'll cause a temporal paradox and the universe will explode!!! ...oh, just kidding" -bit

I watched the movie and I didn't dislike it but I didn't like it either. I just felt neutral about it. I'd say it's worth renting and seeing but not to go out and buy when it comes out on dvd.

Saw star trek last sunday, i liked how they went with an alternate reality rather then just how the crew got together. I was surprised at first that it was the romulans who were the main villains in this one, imo the ship and guys did not even look like romulans, ears weren't pointed enough.

Good story good acting and very good action scenes. Dialogue how ever was...... Okay.. I give this movie a 6.5-7.0 out of 10.0. Its above average but not epic. I think the movies this summer aren't going to be as good as last years. All the cool ones are still in production.

Public enemies looks good. I just saw terminator salvation it was about 7 out of 10. Angels and Demons I didn't like at all, and Drag me to Hell looks pretty good. Transformers and public enemies both look promising though.

Still though nothing compared to last summer :p
