I was reading the Starcraft credits yesterday after finishing the missions for the umpteenth time. And some of the thanks puzzled me. Like I don't get why they'd be there. And some of them I plain just don't understand at all. Makes no sense to me. My question is I'll list (a long one) of the thanks I found odd, strange or just plain weird. And can any of you please explain why Blizzard thanked them. Like what part they all had to do with the game. Apple Game Kitchen Blizzard North Scooperelli Uncle Nick The Shmoo The Aesir Team Hamro Pen Pen Gene Roddenberry Ray's Pork Rinds Marlboro 'Kare-Bear' Hawaiian Punch Lady Ariana Avalon Tattoo Nuclear Rabbit Kali Old Schoolers Long Island Ice Teas (more drinks) A whole section: Thanks to #tfarcrats Carl Sagan The Universal Cleric Corporation Soul Coughing Guttermouth Rush the residents of SouthPark Big Joe The Barenaked Ladies Brazil 2001 Chow Yun Fat Herodotus 420 Martin Luther King Jr. monkeys Moebius Rage Against The Machine Dragu Energists Lesie the Long beach Lovely George Lucas Wizards of The Coast Stanely Kubrick Sausage McMuffins The Prodigy Mountain Dew Steven Spielbery Lucky the donkey Ray the Soda Guy Insomnia the Girls of Crazy Horse Too Guinness Brewing Company The Pxy Boggards Jackie Chan Sen.-CA Salty Dog [R] Amos the Dog Operation CWAL Funyuns
haha awesome. Jackie Chan helped however. He went up to blizzard and he was like "aii show u good kungfu!!" And the blizz team were liek "OMGOSHNESS you just gave us a great idea to implement in sc!!!" and they implemented the zealots.
Actually I get most of those. Bands or famous people or drinks or TV shows or cigarette companies. But there is two I never really got where they come from. Operation CWAL Apple Game Kitchen I know the first is a cheat in the game what where does it come from?
CWAL = Can't Wait Any Longer. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Operation CWAL Blizzard thanked the members of Operation Cwal. Seriously though: Instant googling > Asking on a forum. I just googled operation cwal.
but you learn better when other people tell you. And the person that told you leans more as well cuz if he writes it all down he will remember it easily.
