    Is there an IRC channel or server or whatever for this forum? That would be cool if there was... Does anyone know how to get one started if there isn't one already?

    Ah yes. That was suggested but the admin feels it would put too much load on the server. We have been having intermittent problems for about a month now due to the sheer volume of people coming and going

    Yeah but the chatroom thing is always nice to have to get a live real-time conversation since different things get said there.

    I just wish we had servers good enough to support it

    I think I just found a way to leech off of another server :p

    do /server irc.darkmyst.org and then /join #sc2forum

    :p

    No, the admins meant that a chat feature being integrated into the main website would have too much load on the server. And IRC channel has no connection whatsoever to the actual website, and would not increase load at all.

    Like already suggested, I recommend googling it.
