This building is an American navy building. It was designed by John Mock.
I found this on the net. Isn't it strange?

They already said that it wasn't built intentionally to resemble to a "Nazis" sign,so isn't weird, just some bad building architecture.
I think it was yesterday's news,if I recalled it correctly.

    BAD?

    IT'S AWESOME!

(one moment here, read this before flaming me: I'm not a raging Nazi who is saying the building is awesome because it looks like a swastika, I simply love the design of it.. )

When was it built? maybe before the swastika has that kind of meaning.

I was this picture a few months ago and I found it very ironic, however, it's only ironic because people are too stick with swastika = Nazi.. by the way.. when people does that, they are just giving more power to the Nazi movement.. and that's ridiculously dumb... that leads me to a thought about racism... If I was black, I'm sure I wouldn't be affected by a white calling me "nigger" (note: of course I would be offended by true cases of racism, D'UH) But today, some stuff that were very offensive aren't anymore.. and there's less and less racism against black people because we are forgeting about it... but not enough.. if every black people completely ignored that kind of stuff, the racism stereotypes would disappear (of course it won't make someone who hates black people love them... in fact. he/she will still hate them, but there won't be the stereotypes and words such as "nigger" to offense the black person.)

My point is that if people would do the exact same thing that I've described with black people (in fact, the younger generations (in an urban environment) are already starting to do it and the results are amazing), but with the Nazis.. it would have the same results.. so referring a building architecture to something bad... is bad.

    Awesome huh?

    I guess I can't disagree with you now can I :-\

and I like the part where you gave your point about the "nazi" and jumped to the "nigger" issue, just to say relating building's bad architecture is bad in the end....now thats awesome.

Well, awesome is a matter of taste.. you can dislike the architecture...

but saying it's bad because it's a swastika.. that's not acceptable.

The links between Nazi and Niggers is discrimation against a race and "something that is considered "bad" by a lot (a shitload, yeah) of people (aka Nazi and racism)

I'm just saying it's dumb to judge architecture based on the fact that the building looks like a swastika.

Originally, the swastika was a religious icon. It comes from teh Sanskrit word svasti, which means well being.

Funny story, there's also a Swastika, Ohio o_O

I think it's a great building. Who cares if it's in shape of swastika?
I think they shouldn't correct it.

Wouldn´t it be more interesting to know who build it that way? You usually get a model or plans before construction beginns, so who approved that?
