Doesn't work. Now I remember again why I never finished this game. It glitched, like most of Bethesda's games. I can only commit a crime and pay the fine to make it go away. The thieve's guild thing won't make it go away, as my bounty is already 0, and nobody is actually chasing me.

I just started over, and it happened again right after starting the thieve's guild quests again. Just going to finish them all, and play the rest of the game with that special robe on. At least when some crime needs to be done.

    Oh.

Cause there's console commands on the PC for that. You can put a bounty on NPC's heads :)

Do not try and kill the guy swimming with the rose arrow on PC, it never works... Even when invisible, even when crouched, even when.... and i quote that the mission is "unfinishable" unless you get bounty.

I am so hating this. The method I described above gives me infamy, which I can't have for the other quests.

Now I need to close like, 10 gates before even starting with anything other then the Thieve's Guild quests.

Yeah, but you can't kill anybody while doing a quest for the Thieve's Guild, so that's a bit of a problem. ;)

Good thing that I started over, actually. Was at the top of the Arena, Mage's Guild, Fighters Guild, part of the Blades, etc. Almost nothing to steal, and you can't really sell a horse to a fence. xD

It's going to be a while before I hit level 25 again. Now going for a character with maxed out stats. (so levelling goes as slow as possible)

Also: almost all armour sets in Morrowind were way cooler then any set in Oblivion. I was hoping to see some Bonemold again, or even those different leather types. All there is now are those cliche sets you see in every rpg. :/

Yeah, like Deadric, Glass or Amber.
    Or hell, Madness.

If you're gonna close that many gates you might as well cheat and get yourself some chameleon stone while you're at it. Though it won't be as good if you're lowe level.

    That's why PC>Console.

    Mods.

    Mooooooods.

And Light Armor in this game is infinitely better than Heavy as near as I can tell. Just raise your block skill and you don't need it?

Yeah, I used to have max light armor with a full Glass set. It was pretty nice. Raised effectiveness, and it had 0 weight. Now I'm going for heavy. Just for the lolz.

Also: I just discovered something funny. If you pickpocket the Gray Fox guy, he will call the guards. xD

And everybody is hating me with my level 20-ish infamy, all because of that glitch which won't go away. Meh, just going to torrent the whole thing once I get my new pc. Already paid for it, so no feeling bad about it. Sick of those bugs. I wish the unofficial Oblivion patch also came for the 360. :/

Can any Obliv experts (or whatever) tell me the advantage of Heavy Armor?

Planning on making a reptile (forgot the name right now) badass, prolly with Blunt and Heavy Armor.

Heavy armor has a higher rating at first, but it doesn't really matter once you get to the ultimate versions. For example, Glass is just as good as Deadric. But at first, steel is obviously better then leather, but is available at the same time.

However, you get some nice bonuses for each on master level. It's your choice which you like best.

Lastly, a master repair armour character can make any armour 125% efficient. Comes in handy, since it's more or less a permanent bonus. You know, because your hammer will never break. :)

You'd have to check stats for the highest level armors. At Master both types have 0 weight, but light also gets a 50% (?) bonus to defense
