Just made: Patriots vs. Giants. Let's talk! State anything, who you think is gonna win, where you're going, got any multi-billion bets on this, who you think deserves it more, etc etc.

It's one of the best days of the year....Super Bowl Day!!!! (at least for us Americans)

Can't believe the Packers lost. That should've been a gimme.

I'll be in Gainesville... as per usual...

Same. Although now I really do wish the Colts made it to the Super Bowl...would've been an epic game being Manning vs. Manning :p I am still, and forever will be, a Tom Brady fan though.

Well. At the beginning of the season I thought the Patriots were going to go undefeated. Looks like I was right - crazy. I expect them to beat the Giants, but in another close game.

This weekend I bet on the Chargers and the Packers. Chargers were the underdog by fourteen, so I won the bet, but Packers were the favorite by seven, and so I lost that one and went even for the weekend.

Have no clue who I'll bet on in the superbowl (depends on the spread). But I am pretty confident Patriots will win.

    My money's on the Patriots.

    Why?

Cause I watched the game today (Sunday+HD TV-Customers=BOREDOM) and San Diego got pwned.

[me=LordKerwyn]is a solid Packer fan and is deeply frusterated after watching the NFC Championship....[/me]

TBH I don't think the Giants have a hope in hell against the Patriots. If had, had to pick a team to beat the Patriots it would have been the Packers for 2 reasons first the Packers were one of the only playoff teams that the Patriots hadn't played so the Patriots wouldn't have known what it's really like to play them yet (something I think that always favors the underdog). The second thing was history tends to repeat itself and the Packers have beaten the Patriots in the last Super Bowl both temas were in. (Super Bowl 31 for the curious)

P.S. Yay 1000 posts atleast thats something to cheer for.....

The Giants played the Pats down to 3 points the last time they showed up and it was for a game that didn't matter.

Don't count 'em out. But I'll take NE with a 7 point line.

I really hope that the Patriots win.

But I don't think that is an irrational hope. Look at their season so far--with this kind of momentum I don't think much could stop them.

I am rooting for the Giants. Honestly however it may be for the most ridiculous reason ever. I have wanted the Patriots to lose the Superbowl against anyone because they beat the Rams way back when at the Superbowl in overtime and my friends and I were all rooting for the Rams except 1 kid. Then at the end of the game they lost and everyone was kinda disapointed, except for the 1 guy who was like 'I told you so"..... *tries to shake old pointless stories out of head* anyways since then I have been rooting for any team that play against them.... Oh well.

PS: I am very disappointed the Packers didn't make it (I live in Wisconsin and was actually beginning to have an intrest in watching football again)

What kind of team would New England be if they went 16-0 --- that's SIXTEEN AND OH--- and then lose the superbowl? how would you live with yourself? it would be the greatest sham in NFL history... The Patriots have delivered in every game, making this one of the most watched seasons of NFL history - people got on to watch the patriots just to hopefully see them lose. There's no way they're going to disappoint in the big game.

I was sort of surprised when the Packers didn't make it actually. Would've chosen Packers over Giants any time. I agree with hillz and sky. I want to see the Patriots lose NOW. I don't want any team to have a completely perfect season.

Damn I live in Arizona and holy crap people are renting out their houses for thousands of dollars a night. With the money you could make off that you could buy a new car. A good one at that. Dont expect to be able to drive anywhere around here though for a couple of weeks.
