Having left our planet and being away from natures cause the Terran have lost what you said the human race has.

 

Well duh. The original terrans pretty much existed of mutants criminals and cyborg.


Oh wait, you are using a nature arqument.
In that case there is plenty of that stuff on the planets the terrans live on. Which would at least qualify them for just being different, instead of less.

 

No offense, but why do we have to have nature to define us? Nature is something to used by us until there is nothing left but an empty husk. We rule this place, not the other way around.

Besides tech beats nature any day of the week, now let's go ripe some planets apart.

They are pretty human. Have two legs, two arms and one head and all the other things.

I disagree. As they act just liek humans on Earth. They abuse the delicate balance of nature they rely on to survive. And cause of it they have to hop from planet to planet after the ruin the ones they are on. By ruin I mean extinct the spieces on the planet, over mine it, pollute it etc etc.

One thing that is slightly worse though than humans is Terrans don't seem to have any envriomentalists in their movement. And yeah recycling their old scrap metal and other bits of junk could help lower the cost of their buildings/machines.

By the way mutants, criminals and cyborg, we have them on earth now. Bechnically someone on earth with a bionic titanium leg and some circutry to get the leg to work properly. That is man mixed with machine. Criminals have existed since humans have evolved. So nothing new there. And with the genetic engineering going on now. A mistake or something could make a mutant. It's only a matter of time. And mind you the Chernobyl explosing created a few what some would call mutants.

So even by the mutants, criminals and cyborg agruement. The Terrans are just a select part of the human population that got stranded from the rest. And now evolve seperately to the rest of the humans. Can't breed with the rest fo the humans and tey have their own unique challanges to adapt and evolve to gat passed.

I think the Terrans are human in essence. But slowly are gaining their own identity. Thoughts/ideas wise as well as biological. One day will they be a different species? Maybe in 5 million years. But they are not lesser then human. They are just better at their own issues on lands far far away from Earth. And likewise the Earth people are better ad solving Earth's issues.

 

Okay then its agreed, lets get the Imperium of Man started. First this solar system, then whatever else we see.

Maybe he means that Terrans are a bit too epic compared to our real world humans? My favorite is still Protoss, but the Terrans really look kinda cool. I have the feeling that Blizzard may have put some extra work into Terran character design.

 

The fact you think Chernobyl exploded(I assume u meant exploding and not exposing) makes the Nuclear Engineer Inside me chuckle. Please re-evaluate the worse nuclear power plant disaster before spouting nonsense about mutants.

 

It's common sense, if you're exposed to different races, there will be mixed breeds sooner or later, they will both interconnect and interact with each other learning each others ways.

Look, if we expand to the spaces in real life and DO find there's something out there, there's going to be some new "classes" of human going around...

 

That assumes humans can breed with these new races (or aliens). What if they can not?

Well breeding could be test tube gene splicing to create human/zerg hybrids. Just like the protoss/zerg hybrid in the SC1 bonus mission.

By that same logic it would mean that Australian families that can trace back to convicts are "less human". Why should the distance between the United Kingdom and Australia, or Earth and the Terran worlds make any difference?

Granted living on different enviroments/gravity would make slight physical changes over long periods of time, some terrans seem to be a hell of a lot more 'buff' then the body builders we have on Earth. But what does that have to do with them being less human in any shape or form?

If anything Terrans seem to be in touch with more of humanity than the fascist UED, which is scary considering they never left Earth and look what they turned into.

I've said it before, Terrans are the best from the worst of our race.
