Never played one but the concept is certainly nifty, and if you have a liberal DM, the fact that it's a character based on using its mind to affect its surroundings makes a character quite literally only limited by your imagination.

iffy, I'm pretty sure you can find a **** ton of other people to play with online. I've even seen free programs with GUI's, chat, and DM tools built in whilst stumbling..
