If you are referring to the USA with the Nominated Parties one, we have lots of parties to choose from, the problem is that only 2parties have enough money to get noticed.
Seriously? Here in the Netherlands, political parties all get free broadcast time on the 3 national networks. And they slap posters to every pole they can find. We have about 3 different parties at a time running the country, and 15 others yelling at them that they suck. Aaaah, what a small nation we are, but we reach such epicness sometimes. Or is that also a conspiracy? We also have a queen...

i quoted only for the definition... so i dont understand your comment. @bralbers: yes, I mean ultimately we can only vote for two.. and its always the 2 most paid compagned irronicly. This in itself is the problem. If it was a true democracy and "free" then we should be able to vote for any party till the very end to take office and count all votes accordingly. I didnt want to vote for either Barrack or McCain, like my free rights should allow.
I know how you feel. I voted for Barr of the Independent party, last elections were terrible in that I didn't find anyone I like, but hey I voted so I have a right to complain.
