The Great October Revolution Day!

My comrades, today is the day of the Great Socialist Revolution! Congratulations to everyone!

Today, the 7th November is the day of the Great Socialist Revolution, which happened in 1917 and resulted in the formation of USSR as well as strengthening of workers worldwide.

As workers became aware of the power they wield, when united, they were able to achieve more freedom and more rights.

October revolution proved that ordinary people can make a change, and the idea of socialism had such a strong power among workers that they were able to shape the governments and shift them left. Governments, which resisted becoming social-democracies were overthrown and replaced by socialist governments (some were democratic, while the majority were dictatorships).

Sadly, the Utopian government of Communism never happened. It is still a dream not achieved.

Btw, I am very happy there is no bitching on how communism is bad, which I find to be the most dumb mistake to make, and I didnt get any powerdowns for my honest opinions. This really is a great forum.

humans want to be different from each other, they want things other humans dont have, humans are to different to share everything unless we have something that molds material into the desired form

that's a funny one, while it's true that humans try to be different, it's comes natural to them to copy everything from their surroundings. I'd say greed is mmore of an issue here than individuality (though that's surely one too)

Actually, communism is possible, but to be possible, peoples minds must be mature enough to accept it, which is not the case in our generation.
The only thing higher than communism will be a way where there will be needed no government, no laws, no force and everything will be in divine harmony. This is the highest form of development of the human civilization. Sadly, this is even farther away.

Edit: yes ijffdrie, you are wrong on the comment of difference, communism does not want people to be the same, only that people be valued the same no matter race, religion, sex and most importantly, money.

The thing is that it's not form of _human_ civiliization, because it would require humans to be not be humans. It's only possible in utopias such as Heaven, where being able to see God is everything humans will need for happiness.
