The elections are next Tuesday. The Democrats are going to lose so many damned seats to the GO(B)P. There's a very real chance that Harry Reid is going down in flames this time around. The real question is is Obama screwed?
Wrong answer. Polls here in Utah (Normally a GOP bastion) are looking quite nice for Dems. Reason? Traditional GOP candidates are competing with Tea Party politicians, whereas all Dems are for the Dem candidate. Plus the Rally to Restore Sanity is going a long way towards moderates and third party voters.
Republicans aren't doing nearly as well as they were predicted to do. They are dropping in the polls because of some bad strategy on the Republican side *cough* Christine O'Donnell *cough*.
Sam Granato (D-UT) is still going to lose to Mike Lee in the Senate race. What is the Democratic party going to pick up in Utah?
Get a Dem Governer? Caroon's support is higher than almost any Dem candidate ever.with 37% (Yeah, not gonna win but the GOP is slipping). I was reading a poll in City Weekly (a local publication) about the elections and why people are voting for who. Quite a few GOP folk were saying they voted for Lee because he's the only red candidate. This does not constitute support in my opinion. I should take a look see at what NPR has to say. CNN is useless with election stuff, almost as bad as Fox.
I wish I could vote for that guy. I don't care about his other political views (or even know them really), but that is really something people could get behind. Also: Rallies
Dan Quayle's dumbass son is running for Congress in my home congressional district and it's very likely that he's going to win.
There will be NObama in 2 years. From 1/21/09 till yesterday Obama's approval rating has gone from about 43% Strongly Approved/5% Strongly Disapproved to 43% Strongly Disapproved/30% Strongly Approved. This means he holds a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13. When was the last time his approval rating was positive? 6/29/2009 ! And it has been negative ever since. He will never be able to hold up promises he made. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...ministration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll
It's kind of a weird loop. Because of the low approval, he can't really do anything, which makes his approval lower.
Vicious cycle baby. I love how stupidly short sighted Americans are. "Oh the Dem president is doing a mediocre job, let's go back to Repubs" when the last Repub admin sent us into a huge recession (almost a depression), screwed up our taxes, got us into two wars, and made our fine nation the laughingstock of the world. Doesn't that sound like a great idea to everyone else?
But you forget that Obama is a nazi socialist communist that is out there to destroy America! Oh wait the Republicans didn't even let him pass anything resembling public healthcare. Nevermind.
November 2nd, 2010 Tomorrow the xelnaga artifact will finally be activated. tomorrow is the day the communists will be defeated all over the nation, like when the artifact was activated to wipe out the zerg. Thankfully not all the liberals will be wiped out, just taken out of power peacefully, but it will be a sweep like no other. This is our last stand as Ronald Reagan once said. This is when we begin to reverse the 100 years of tyranny-driven policies that oppress us and will further oppress us unless we do something about it! also, hi.
I think a better analogy is it's more the UED coming in to overthrow arcturus after he kicked out the confederacy...because we all know that changed alot and worked >>. Pity Mccain didn't get in so the republicans could fall on their sword instead of escape when their terrible economic management caught up to America. Which would have in turn allowed the democrats to come into power when the business cycle improved giving room for reform socially and economically. Ah well nutters like Glenn Beck are seen by us the same way Michael Moore was seen by conservatives. Alot can happen in 2 years so that Americans rally back behind their king... Oh and... kinda funny http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_23N... saved because Christine O'Donnell didn't win
