Well, elves and unicorns seem the most obvious example, with elves also having weaponry fitted for longer distances, and not using their natural immunity to the elements by going to a very secluded place where everyone would leave them alone because of the cold.

halflings should live in elven habitats

unicorns should live on the plains

Dwarves and goblins are doing fine

Werewolves need to go out of their goddamn forests, and go to areas with more consistent shading, so they can choose to be either wolves, or humans, and not change back if they charge past a tree which blocks moonlight.

Vampires might want to live in more urban areas(already happening in fiction)

not sure where dark elves or orcs are supposed to live.

There are snow elves, in Warhammer for instance. (Also sea elves or something like this)

Leave the godblessed unicorns alone, their primary habitat is hiding, they'd die out quickly if they lived in easily spotted / sniped areas like plains, so they live deep within forests.
Oh guess what, they died out anyway.

    Drows live underground

I am doing quite well actually! Thanks to the gas mask I removed the biggest natural enemy of horses - poisonous gas in the face.
    Yes.

How are you? Life treating Meee well?

Yes, both of us it seems.
Well, I'm on a month-long leave so I don't complain now. (Though I know life's just setting it up for a sneak attack)

we're talking about the standard setting of the races Meee, otherwise with the elves i would have mentioned Riftwar Saga where there are elves living in
    - a humid forest
    - a pine forest
    - the tundra
    - the desert
    - an alien tundra
    - high in the mountains
    - low in the mountains

Orcs always seem to live in some sort of wasteland, where they can't possible grow the amount of food or get the amount of water they need.

dont see anything wrong with that picture, it gives them a good incentive to go rape YOUR land instead.

Dwarves are in the perfect area though.

Unicorns hiding kinda makes sense, but since they are supposed to have healing abilites, wouldnt they be better off in a slightly poisonous swamp?

    WTF are you talking about.

There are no elves in WoT.

There's Humans, Ogier, Trollocs, and Myddraal as far as sentient races go. If you wanted to get more in depth, I suppose you could consider Seanchan a seperate race, but still.

    No orcs.
    No dwarves.
    No goblins.
    And lastly, no elves.

    No, really?

But as far as typical fantasy goes, the closest thing to that should be D&D where water naga is only one of the types and I don't think even those live directly in the sea.
