If somebody tries to revive the powerup fest tradition, then I will send the Zwarte Piet crew after you. A group of black people who put you in sacks, abduct you to Spain, then enslave you while giving you spankings all day. It.s a Dutch tradition. (seriously, wiki it)

I might make a Christmas sig later. :)

Hey Meee, the Royal Cobra is one of my favorite units too. I like marauders a bit more tho.

It will be difficult to make a Xmas avatar out of a Maelstrom, so I'll have to pass on this one xD

My influences include Andy Warhol and Rosalie Gascoigne. I tried taking more of an artistic licence this time, sticking to the more classical symbolic colours of Christmas, without resorting to the physical symbols themselves. This created a much more surrealist or perhaps Post Modern design or style which is further emphasised through the contrast created by the two complementary colours while still being a part of the same shared image. It creates a sense of a power struggle between the two areas, both fighting for the dominance of the display picture. On the one hand, the red is the focus, being much more detailed, bolder, and taking up more space than the green, but on the other, the green is framed as such to lure the viewer's eye to it, while still undershadowing the work as a whole.

Other than messing with the colors like Itza I am not sure how to make a Protoss warship "christmasy" without significantly changing the picture.

    No.

Especially since only one of the colours is right.
