This is Thevetat's latest demo/album (first featuring Kaarina, FrozenAngel). They will be handing this out for free at shows.

WARNING: The style of music is symphonic black metal. Do NOT download if you do not like screaming, blast beats, or occult lyrics. Constructive criticism is acceptable (no "it's just noise" or "I can't understand what he's saying" or "it takes no skill". It does indeed take skill, as well as endurance.).

 

So if it is just a loud noise which cant be understood at all and she will indeed appear to have no skill, we have to keep quiet?

 

If that is how you're going to be you shouldn't be posting anyway.

 

Unfortunately, the general reaction to this style of music is that it's just loud noise with no skill, which is why I put that warning. Having played this music myself, I realize the complexity and musicianship in it. I'm asking to give it a try and don't just push it aside as "noise". There's a reason why the style of music is known as symphonic metal.

EDIT: If you want an easier-listening style of symphonic metal, I recommend searching up bands like Sonata Arctica and Nightwish.

 

I lol'ed at the part with endurance, personally I dont know what kind of music I like. I just like anything that sounds nice to me

 

For a long time I've been thinking is there other Finnish people on this forum than me. (yes I know that this forum has so many members that I can't be the only one) So now I know somebody. I'm definately going to download and listen to that album, because I listen to that kind of music, but I don't know if I can give any useful criticism because I'm not used to criticize music, I just listen to it and have my opinion.

Edit: Wow that's a good album! Really. Maybe not so unique but still really good. Shall we hear more of you in the future?

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, we're not so much unique. I was listening heavily to Emperor while writing the material.
You can expect to hear more from us soon, actually. I'm already writing new material. It has a cleaner, more progression-based approach. We also have new microphones too, so the production won't be piss poor.

 

Well there have been some downloads, not as many as I would hope, but still.

 

Singles coming, recording is underway.
