Every time you even THINK of a Tauren paladin, a bunny dies.

 

Actually I kind of like the concept.

They don't believe in the Light. They don't have some Naaruu to leech power from.

They believe in the Earth Mother. Now leave them alone.

They don't get their power from the light. They are more like sun druids then like warriors of the light.

Of course gameplay doesn't really reflect this, but since when has it reflected anything? Priests get their powers from about a dozen different sources as well, but no one complains about Night Elf priests using Holy spells now, do they?

 

I'm complaining about it. >_>
Also: Night Elves got their Sunwell back since the end of TBC, silly. You really need to check out the ending transcript of SWP sometime.

Night Elves can use it as well.

If I see a Gnome transform into a giant bear, I might quit playing wow.

 

bah, that is what I would call QQ-ing.

Night Elves won't use it. Shendra'lar might, and perhaps the silverwing covenant(alliance new high elves) as well.

But Tauren paladins aren't that bad. The way blizzard told everyone that 'they had learned from being in contact with other races' is very annoying though, since the backstory they gave them had nothing to do with that. They are what happens when a druid decided to use the sun instead of the moon as a power source.

 

I'd expect a paladin who gets their power from the sun to deliver more indiscriminate justice via means of incineration

 

There's already too many ret paladins in the game without adding extra races imo.

I PERSONALLY think we need Draenei rogues and Troll druids, but that's just me.

There is a ****ing quest where Tauren speak of what the Earth Mother's distribution is. Light=Sun=Tauren paladins and priests/new lore... wtf; the answer has been in game.
It's a dialog that even hints at a new Tauren hero (IMO) who will fill the void after Cairne is executed for treason.

troll druids are being added y'know?

And Draenai are big noisy honorable space goats who have little knowledge about the weak points of the creatures of this world. If any race doesn't get to be rogue it's them(aka wait an expansion for it)

I did not know that. Imo, they make a lot more sense being druids than any other race, since their gods take animal aspects.

Draenei are from Draenor, no? When I'm putzing around outland, the animals there look miiiiiighty similar to Azerothian animals. The only valid argument I've seen is their hooves. And that's meh.

 

And that their legs are all crooked?

Anyways, I like the idea of shapeshifting trolls more then the Tauren. Night Elves doing it make sense, although I never really have been pleased with the tree and cat forms. Also, it'd be nice if Trolls and Gnomes get different looks. I don't care if the stats are exactly the same, but a Gnome dire bear form or Troll as a bird just seem more then wrong.

Also, Trolls don't take the forms of their gods, they kill them and ninja their powers. That's something completely different from worshiping them, and then be granted with powers.
