    Nice :good:
Judging by his language, he must have been pissed off quite often by the people he mentions.

I especially agree with his "less indoor" idea and the filter before allowing connection to battlenet :) Unfortunately, we live in a world where small children don't go out to play sports and stuff with other children but choose to stay inside and start programming at 8 and such ridiculous things.

The better pathfinding and smoother movement in crowds is already finetuned, as I've heard.

I have ambivalent feelings about his last point :)

He went a little overboard One thing is age and maturity are two different things.  I have seen 14 year olds act more mature than 24 year olds.  Most of the assholes who enjoy ruining your game ad write in 1337 $934k are over 17 anyway. The people who cuss out children gamers are just as immatureas those children gamers

Hmm again interesting article and i do agree with some of it however bird of prey also has a good point when he says some of the "kiddies" may act more mature than others.

That 17+ sign is pointless I agree but he doesn't specify an age limit for online play, only a test that would filter people who are harassing the English language. I'd definitely like that, though I know such thing will never be implemented because it would reduce sales.

I love the no misspelled words bit. I have read essays from people who write for a living that had misspeled wrods after having been edited. Anyone ever read the newspaper? Theres at least 2 gramatical/spelling errors per article.

    Hahaha.

"To some people, that's a part of the online excitement: out-planning an opponent... watching him rush 100 Carriers into a base, only to see 100 Carrier-Fuckers tear open 100 condoms in unison."

I think its good and true. Now i say this cause i am under 17 and my parents wont allow me to get m games (not even halo, yes i know it is retarded), but i really dont want them to label it mature. I play sc all the time online, and i have been waiting for this game for a long time (didnt think it was coming). So i really just dont want them to ruin it for me by making it M. Other then that nice.

@ Mac , This was hilarious and entirely true.

Nevertheless, the thread belongs in the lounge. So please read the forum guidelines before you post! Thanks.

    But thanks for sharing it!!!!

I don't think the topic itself belongs in the lounge, although the direction it has been taken might put it there if we don't stop focusing one small part of the page.

He went a bit too far with it, but I guess he wanted to be funny also. Still there are pieces of wisdom in his anger driven text.
