Vampires VS Werewolves

ok, after having a dream of this i decided to see what the other people think of this(weather which one you want to be one or which one you think will win a fight), i did some research and i was surprised to learn that they both 'evolved' quite a bit compared to ancient folk-lore.

but im getting side tracked which would you want to become and who do you think would win a fight? this be a battle where anything goes!!!

I'd rather be a werewolf if anything, because I hate undead. As for fight, obviously vampires because they're fluffy godmoders.

 

yes Dark, you must tell me which one you have chosen, for if you do not then your wish of becoming one of them wont come true and then you will go into the depths of despair for all eternity and then some. =P

@ Meee, they both evolved quiet differently from folk-lore to modern times. the vampire was more affected tho with losing weaknesses that they had and/or gaining new strengths. while the Werewolves have instead evolved their physical appearance more, before in folk-lore it was just a person that transform into a normal looking wolf, but now if you look at the art works you can see that has changed a lot.

and sadly i cant really find many fiction books/shows/and movies that focus around werewolves, i can easily find several about vampires with just a thought and click, but werewolves have remain mostly untouched.

werewolves all the way. vampires are cool, but they got nothing on werewolves. vampires are cool, yeah, but they're extremely over rated to me, and i believe werewolves don't get enough publicity. they are awesome, in old legends and new. I'd much rather be a werewolf

I don't like either vampires or werewolves. Vampires suck blood which I wouldn't want to, and werewolves turn hairy, which I also wouldn't want to.

Werewolves ALL DAY SON, they are the best, but I agree with Kaaraa because vampires cheat like a mug, they don't know the meaning of being fair. But then again there is no such thing as fair in a war.

I would rather be a vampire vs. a werewolf, but as to which one would win I would say it all depends on the lore you are looking at and the skill of the comabatants. If the siuation is two average skill comabatants on neutral territory (open field at night, the werewold can't take advantage of the sun and the vamp can't take advantage of heights) and assuming more traditional lore (which is my preference, with a general outline being,vamp in the sun/chopped off head = death, stake through the heart = paralysis until removed, and extreme dislike of garlic and mirrors, vamp can turn into a bat and is faster/stronger and particularly more agile than a human as well as being undead; werewolf severly injured by silver and a fatal blow with a silvered weapon = death, werewolf turns into a man/wolf hybrid with extreme strength/speed as well as endurance) I would say the vampire would win just because it would be easier to hit the werewolf with its weakness vs. the vampires.

P.S. On the topic Fenix brought up I would say a Phoenix could take them both without to much trouble, but a Phoenix has weaknesses as well so against an extremely skilled combatant who knows...
