Visual Perception Test

Watch this video. In it there are some people passing a basketball around. Two of them, a boy and a girl in white t-shirts are special. Count how many times the boy passes it to the girl, and vice versa. The boy passing it to anyone else does not count, same with the girl. Got it? Ok, watch it.

Watch it again, and this time, take a look at the gorilla.

 

Im sorry what?  I was too busy trying to figure out which boy in the whit shirt to watch when somone in a goilla suit walked in and I lost count

I counted like 4 passes, and they almost hit the dude in the suit.

I've heard of this thing but never actually seen it.... I think playing video games might nullify its effect since we pay attention to any type of movement..

 

Yeah there was a study that people who play video games are able to pick out more minutiae. Even able to pick out individual letters that were surrounded by others closely.

Its because we learn how not to miss things

 

And they say video games aren't useful. SCREW YOU DAD!

 

What, are you all saying you saw the gorilla the first time? I was busy ignoring the idiot in the white sweater.
btw I counted 3 passes each, so 6.

 

Yes I was watching the two people and they were trying to dodge the pesron dressed as a gorilla

 

Omg after I watched the video and saw that Praetor Fenix said to look at the gorilla, I'm like "What? There was a gorilla?" So I looked at the movie again and then I'm thinking ,"HOW DID I MISS THAT?"

Anyways, I counted 8 times.

 

BTW, there was actually 6 passes

 

I was close with 7

 

Hm I might have missed the gorilla but at least I can concentrate on the exercise... I WIN! ^_^

 

So what was the mission objective? To count passes or to spot gorrila. I managed both on first go so do I get bonus upgrade . Btw, I got six passes, but since I didn't know which dude to concentrate on, I did not miss the gorilla.

 

If you didn't know who to concentrate on, you couldn't have counted six, since there were 2 guys in white of which only 1 was relevant

 

well...i was counting right...and when i saw the gorilla..i lost track...so i counted 5.. =.=

but it was 6..meh..lol

I stopped counting when the gorilla appeared. I did, however, start laughing.

 

i got 5, I don't think it was that hard to tell. the gorilla made it harder though, WH WOULD A RANDOME GORILLA WALK THROUGH!? WHO DOES THAT?

 

I watched the gorilla do a Jig, screw that, he needs attention!
