Voting is now open for the games selection in the World Cyber Games 2008. We encourage you to take a minute and vote for StarCraft! Over a decade old, SC simply matures with age. The professional community is still alive and kicking, so let's make sure it's included in WCG 2008! You will notice that StarCraft II is an option. Please, if you are voting for SCII - vote for it as your secondary choice. Knowing Blizzard, the game probably won't be ready for WCG '08. You are right, but I hope SC 2 will come out before the event.. Tough I vote for bw for the first time
Well since I'm interested in trying out for WCG next year ofcourse I'll throw in a vote. Aside from Broodwar I'm interesting to see what people could do in games like Cal of Duty 4 and Soul Caliber (fighting games are simply great even when you aren't playing them).
While The World Cyber Games wouldn't make a predetermined assumption on if SC2 will be out for it to be an available ladder, I don't think it will be there. Blizzard wouldn't even tell the WCG when it coming out, just how tight lipped they are.
