    Yes they have. And they (sometimes) cooperate with the Belgian ones. And they will settle a F16 dutch base in the USA.

    our military is currently active in uruzgan(thats in afganistan)


    and during WW2 we drove bikes.

    Also, we ate tulips.

    Yeah, that's right. We ate flowers and are still loving it. And all you guys thought that those tulip fields were there because we sell them flowers. :p

    But seriously: the Dutch military wasn't the only military driving bikes. Heck, the Dutch military didn't even do that much... But those German soldiers, they commandeered thousands of our bikes for their stupid army.

    the point is not that we had bikes

    bikes are good and cheap.

    the point was that that was the mode of transport for our armies, and also our armored division

    Can I add that the Dutch military is one of the armies which respects environment ? Indeed they drive bike and bicycles, not like some army .... that uses huge Hummer to drive ONE mile .... :p
