    That is pretty cool that a robot can do that.

    If they can build a robot that will fix the economy that would be an even better one.

    @loverboy
    They are making part 4 now, but I prefer the animatrix scenario. At least that ended with people ending up in a dream world and leading normal lives...

    @ijffdrie
    Why not just PROGRAM them to become suicide terrorist right away, instead of letting them figure it out by themselves. :p

    Remember fellas that currently Robots still only know what information we give it. It can do whatever it wants with the information we give it but as long as no one is stupid enough to give one the knowledge of warfare we are safe.

    It's not hard to build a robot, that part I think is hard is making the AI. Give me someone who can program AI and I'll get you a robot. Of course it'll only be about knee high as I ain't exactly rich.

    This robot needs to be 15ft. high, equipped with massive and destructive weapons, have the hardest substance as an armor and program to kill...After we see how successful it will be we will make about 1,000,000 copies at fist and let loose on Australia and Africa first.

    I know the US government was experimenting with attack robots for awhile. They kinda looked like R2D2 with eyes and two gatling guns on it's side.It was supposed to be ableto idenitfy friend from foe and shoot on sight of a foe.It never made it past the prototype phase I believe.

    As technology progresses I get even more scared for the world. Two reasons why...one because the country is getting lazier and lazier...and a two is a fear that something in terminator will actually happen....

    you know what always strikes me as odd: all us humans have the frankenstein complex, yet the organization that is the most advanced with AI is the military

    Nah, those people who make the asimo robots and all that are further then the military. The military robots just look more advanced because they have flamethrowers and all that crap on them...
