What are Clan's like?

I'be been with Starcraft sinse its release but I was never in a Clan. I moved onto World of Warcraft and of course now Ive been in a good many Guilds. Are Guilds similar to Clans and in what ways? How easy is it to make a Clan? What ways do Clan's function together and how will SC2 handle them? Im interested because I plan on dropping WoW for SC2 but I want to know if it will still have the social interaction instead of just gg, T_T, and noob! Will Clan's have their own chat channels or vent that they can chat and cut up together while playing?

 

that depends on how battle.net is set up for sc2 when it comes out we will try to get a private channel if possible and maybe more if possible.

 

First guilds=clans

The clan experience is based on what clan you join and your play style. Some people like to 1v1and a clan is probably not for them. Others like 4v4 and a clan isvery good for them. Some clans are competative and try to climb up the ladders and become #1 while others are just there to be a list of playing buddies. The latter is often les strict on rules as well
