Into your pumpkins this year? You may or may not be dressing up... but c'mon. Jack-o-lanterns!

I just finished my template/stencil/schwatever for my own pumpkin.

The Winchester rifle, cricket bat, and spade from Shaun of the Dead. Obviously I'm a bit obsessing over the movie, but oh well.

And if this may not cut it for The Lounge, feel free to drop it in Space Junk.

But yeah, what's up with your guys' jack-o-lanterns this year?

I'm not carving anything, I'm smashing other peoples pumpkins instead.

Be glad I don't live in Edmonton Willy.

No dressing up AND no pumpkins either. Halloween is only coming recently to us and since I haven't been raised with that as tradition I don't really give a damn. Also it's just another commercial holiday crap, so no thanks.

That said, to whoever does celebrates it, have fun. Some of the stuff people do with pumpkins is simply stunning.

If I had a break on Halloween (which I don't) I'd get a good makeup job to look like a very decayed corpse and sit near my house's candy bucket. Any time someone took more than one piece of candy, I'd jump up and scare the bejeebus out of em. I wish I had more free time :(

Dark, you and Meee are downers.

A corpse, eh? That's new, usually people are scarecrows when they jump at people.

That'd scare the crap out of me.

No jack-o-lantern obviously, since you've got work/school/whatever the day of?

You're just jealous that you are not bold enough to go pumpkin smashing.

Yeah, because vandalism is real cool.</sarcasm>

I am not carving a pumpkin this year, but in past years my family would do things like place a jack-o-lantern on top of a step ladder with a sheet over it to make it look like a ghost. One time we considered putting a plasma ball in the pumpkin, but decided it would not be good for the plasma ball.

It's a pumpkin, it's not vandalism. It's not like they will spend a lot of money on a pumpkin.

Whatever Dark, being a **** is still being a ****.

And whoop-de-**** if I'm not "bold".

Jack-o-lantern on a step ladder... I should try that next year.

Rofllmaool willy, that was exactly the reaction I was hoping for, I'm not really going out for smashing pumkins, I just wanted to see how far I had to push it before you started censoring yourself.

I prolly won't go out at all, if I do, I'll go back to my home town to see some old friends, but that remains to be seen.

Smashing pumpkins purely because they're jack-o-lanterns is so... Can't even think of a word low enough to account for it. If someone creates an artwork with fairly inexpensive raw materials is it alright to smash that too?

@ Willy. No offense, but I can't see that being a very effective design. You wouldn't be able to have the same layers as you do in the sketch and a lot of the detail of the rifle and bat are covered up by the rest.

However, I'm not a Halloween fan, I'm just a fan of art.

Itza, don't, I was merely trying to annoy Willy out of amusement (I seem to have succeeded). I don't ever/have ever smashed ppls pumpkins before.

I read that dude, and just to add to that it's not appropriate for the Lounge. Serious discussion here, not baiting people into getting angry for whatever reason. Anyway, just because you joked about smashing pumpkins I can't comment on pumpkin smashing?

You can comment on pumpkin smashing sure, just know that I wasn't serious.

And even though I wasn't serious, what I was saying was relevant to the topic.
