What would you do to survive? Would you group up with friends to take them on or hide and stay inside away from all of the danger? Do you think you can do it? What are your ideas on surviving?

Grab what weapons I can and bike to the nearest oil rig off my coast . Or go to my local high school with what weapons I have and stay up on the roof's for as long as possible.
Get my ex-veteran buddies together, grab my guns of course, and get to a boat or a blimp. Go deep sea and only dock when I need food and water. O yeah and of course make a thick leather armored suit. Seeing as how zombies don't use weapons and just bite. I think that would be helpful, or maybe I'll just make some kind of kevlar/leather/aluminum mix. I'd probably rob a walmart, bass pro, gun shop, police station, and a national guard depo for as much ammunition as possible. I'd also kidnap a doctor to ensure proper medical personel to take with us on the boat/blimp. This is of course something that would never happen... Zombies can't stop tanks, but tanks CAN stop zombies.
Hahah loving the ideas... I think I would love to just rob a Wal-Mart, because you have everything you will ever need right there right? Think about it, you have guns and ammo, along with melee weapons such as bats and hockey sticks and all of that, so supply up on all of that, block off all exits that you can and force them through one if anything. You also have lots and lots of food, even if the electric is out the freezers will still keep stuff cold, plus you have tons upon tons of non-perishable goods, sad part is you would probably run out of weapons before food. As for weapons they have all sorts of stuff so I would totally barricade myself in a Wal-Mart if I could.
You know we could have a mock zombie-pocalypse or something haha. See who comes up with the best idea in under so many words =]
I would go buy some plants from Bloom and Doom Co, preferably Sun Flowers, Repeaters, Wall-Nuts, and Frost Melons. Then once I beat the boss zombie, we can make an awesome music video about it
Haven't you seen C-SPAN? Zombies have already taken over. Reality TV is actually a plot to make sure our brains are nice and mushy for the harvest. Seriously though, I think I might hole up in a Costco to start. If memory serves they don't have any real windows, they have steel doors that come down, and there is plenty of non-perishable food, as well as other miscellaneous supplies and things that can be converted to weapons. Or maybe I'd follow this "guidebook", HighSchool of the Dead (awesome zombie manga with violence and fan service): http://www.1000manga.com/Highschool_of_the_Dead/ Anime series is starting at the end of this month I think
Hahah yeah any real big super-store, like a Costco, Wal-Mart, BJ's or Sams Club.... what about if we don't have the luxuries of urban life, what about being stuck in the backwoods, maybe 20 miles from an urban town, and all we have are wooden shacks?
guns, and ammo in Wal-Mart? Now i know you must be American. Unless that's how it is in every part of the world except my part. But i mean do you guys think zombies would last through a cold north winter. Don't you think they would die out?
They're already dead, how can they die out? jokes aside, it depends on how they function and where they invade. Anyone know at what temperature blood freezes?
I'd put a gun to my head, pray one time, and click. Unless the government manages to prevent massive spread of infection, we're all screwed over. Check "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z" by Max Brooks. They're really good.
I'd have "fun" and survive as long as possible,I live in a city, but my parents live in the woods about 10 miles away. I'd bunker up, there's a wood stove, all sorts of firearms...lots of food. Also a lot to shoot and eat assuming the animals aren't infected... I have a 3 year old boy, so it wouldn't be as easy for me as most of you, I don't have the option to just sit around, or put one between my eyes if it got rough. But, most of my friends are hillbillies, so we'd probably have each other pretty well covered if we could manage to congregate somewhere. Big trucks, guns, supplies...I'd like to think we'd be set. I haven't shot my rifle or 12 in a long time but I'm sure i'd get some practice in! Dude, it'd be raw.
The manga I linked posed a similar question: it is a very hot summer. How long until their muscles rot/decay and they can't move anymore? The response brought up two problems: one, it could take months. Two, the very fact dead people are moving around munching on the living defies our medical knowledge, so you can't rely on it or the possibility they will freeze/rot/or otherwise "wind down" with time. It also touched on the difference between a zombie plague and the other major plagues of human history.....normally living people spread the disease, and if it kills enough people, there aren't enough carriers left to spread it. But with an undead plague the carriers are already dead, so it won't die out on its own simply from killing too many people and not having anyone left to spread it.
I would rob a gun store, and head to the nearest bar / pub and hold it down for long as possible .... bringing my samurai swords and predator blades as well..... then go serious sam on there ***
