A thread where we can speak about what we would like to see research about.

Due to the fact that i do not want this to go the way every other thread goes, a few exemptions must be made for subjects allowed to be mentioned: Religion, anything concidered crackpot/esoteric by the majority of the populace(yes, even if you have definite proof)(although i am willing to make an exception for pyramid power, that stuff is concidered existent in US patentry), alternate medicine who's effect has nothing to do with body chemistry. This is either because i am one of them, or because i really don't want this to turn into an argument between higgs and rebel. I'm hoping for the first... UNLIMITED POWERRRRR!

What i would like to see is research into the effect of exposure to foreign language at a pre-talking age on the linguistic development in children.

I think it'd make it more easy for them to learn multiple languages.

Anyways, I'd like somebody to do some "research" on if video games make you more violent. Still hoping for some "scientist" to realize that it's actually quite relaxing to kill stuff in a game, instead of having to point your anger at actual real people.

    I feel you mon! :D

Anyways, I would love to see a scientist who picks up the great work of Waler J. Kilner. It was Kilner who discovered the human aura and proved its existents. The aura is no more only occult/esoteric, but since 1911 also scientific. Kilner made the human aura visible with the means of chemical screens and Dicayanin. I read his book titled: "The Human Atmosphere" or also known as: "The Human Aura"

My personal believe is that the human aura is the human soul's core. I just hope that one day a well respected scientist could prove that.

That's not really testable is it? (and kinda fits in the seen by the majority of the population as crackpot section). Also, wouldn't a core be on the inside :/ ?

The children thing i am wondering because children learn to speak a language by associating certain words with meanings, but when exposed to multiple languages(possibly similar, like dutch and german) wouldn't language just seem like gibberish?

Also, since insects drop down after a small tuft of drugs, if hasj can be used to take down grasshopper swarms in africa.

Of course it is testable! Oscar Bagnal, another British scientist confirmed Kilner's research. Kilner invented glasses using Dicayanin. They adjust the human eye and then you can see the aura for yourself.

Some short time ago, a dude started to manufacture them for 200 dollars. They are being called PranaView and work similar to Kilner's screens.

You know what I mean. And it is easier to wrap the aura around the human rather than the human around the aura.

If you don't want me to get started don't put "human soul" and "respected scientist could prove that." anywhere near each other.
As for the research there are plenty of them going on right now that I am very anxious about but I would like to see some detailes study done on peoples priorities in life. How much person values their health, wealth, family, friends, civil liberties, human rights, religion etc. and compare that to their nationality, ethnicity, education, intelligence, wealth etc. Extremely data intensive but if anyone puts enough effort to collect and analyse sufficient amount of data to give me an answer I would be more than grateful.

You are very funny, you know that? But knowledge is power...

the point was more that, yes, aura's are seeable, we don't really have any data on the human soul, so we can't possibly look at the make-up of it to see if they are the same. We can't compare the two.

I know the aura-seeing devices, they are quite cool. I'd like some research about what exactly makes up such an aura, and the influence of people on it. There are widely accepted theorems, but I would like some researched facts to it.

Also, since quite a majority thinks of this as crackpot, I think we should stop before the entire thread turns into a conversation about esoteric forces and the fact that we can see them vs anomalies that have electromagnetic explanations.

I read that Kilner observed that the aura consists of three or four layers. The Etheric Double, the Inner Aura, the Outer Aura and possibly the fourth layer, the Ultra Aura.

He observed that there is a connection between a man's/woman's health and the aura. Sick people have a very distorted aura. Not symmetric as it should be, or egg shaped. Dull people, unlike intelligent, people have a gray aura instead of a blue one.

Oscar Bagnall, the second scientists, theorized that the aura may consist of ultra violate radiation or something. But I may be wrong about that, I can't remember his book again.

ultra-violet sounds odd. Maybe a small charge between the air and the skin or something like that.

Anyways, if we continue about that, to a seperate thread it goes. next guy to comment makes one

foreign language at non-talking children, eh? that's just stupid. Do something about the americans coming to the americas. very interesting story indeed.

I would like to see virtual reality researched. As in, you actually feel like you're in the game, living it, rather than sitting in front of a screen and playing it. I think it'd be cool =P
