...Having Akama and Maiev finish off Illidan? I mean, they make a lot more sense then having him killed by your party.( a lot of people here actually think he was killed by 25 random people). Maiev isn't exactly weak, nor is Akama. also, why aren't they pissed then that Alexztrasa killed Malygos?
These actually happened? I don't like the sound of the first one, mainly because Maiev sucks, for the latter I'd need more details. It makes no sense without context
yeah, those happened, in the black temple and oculus raids respectively. i have never done black temple, so i dont know the exact details, but i've seen no indication that she is weak in WC3. She wouldnt be able to fight Illidan alone, Illidan being a powerful caster. from what i understand, Akama recruits 25 players to flank him during battle, then tricks the gaurd in the Black Temple to leave him and Maiev alone, and free her, after which she runs off. Akama and the players then face Illidan and halfway through the battle Maiev storms in. So the main fighter is Akama, rather then Maiev.
good point. From what i have read she even sucks in BT. Akama: hai thar Maiev, up for killing illidan with all these sweet warriors i employed? Maiev: NONONO!!!!!11!!, i will not be part of your plans, i will kill Illidan myself .... Illidan: Blaargh, imma dead! Maiev: MUHAHAHAHHAA Illidan: also your life has no meaning without me Maiev: WAAAAAAH! MOMMY!
I think It makes perfect sense lorewise. Oh and.. today me and my friends went to Utgarde Pinnacle. It was my very first time in it. We killed Skadi and guess what.. I got the blue Proto drake. Yep, I'm that lucky.
NOT AGAIN! I want wc4... All these major lore additions without me noticing. :[ Is there a written version of the storyline in WoW, so people who don't play can keep up with the story? 100 Minerals for the first to give a good link.
WoW is canon, not all the actions of the player though, but things like the argent dawn, the worgen, the zandalari, the naa'ru and the nether drake retcon are canon. Some dungeon kills are canon, like Ch'tun and Ragnaros, while others like Nefarian and Onyxia arent(just concider big kills canon-until-inevitable-retcon). There are a bunch of players who dont concider WoW canon, but those are pissed about the forsaken allieing themselves with the horde, thrall allowing an orc clan that still uses warlocks in Orgrimmar and the draenai retcon(which, besides the flying spaceship, was pretty nice)
Yeah, I remember reading that. But still, it's not like those space fell orcs in war3 were a good addition. I just think it sucks Illidan died. He had the best background story ever. Also the blend of wanting to do good, but inevitably being drawn to evel made his character much more "real" then any other. Just take a closer look at his brother, for example. 'Has sleep dulled my senses?' Yes it has, you over emotional tree hugger. One dimensional and boring guy. I know this is what Blizzard does in every game, but it still sucks. I'm not looking forward to the kills in Starcraft 2. (although the first part will obviously leave most major characters intact) By the way, why did you put this in space junk? Other Blizzard games would have been just fine, right?
He wasn't even being drawn to evil as much as to MOAR POWAH! Just his luck that all the best sources in WC are evil
Except for that ultimate Titan thingy blade that got cut in half. Hmm, how did that end again? Uugh, even more wikis to read. I would almost say it's boring. Almost. Not really.
Sargeras owns and has corrupted one half of that blade. there are some more neutral/good sources though: the shi'ar are a great source of power, as is the ashbringer(though one could believe that they are in fact, the same). The most powerful neutral powersource would be great Loa spirits though
