Now I'm sure most of you would agree to the post's title statement. But perhaps some of you have never seen what can happen if an unfortunate tree gets blown onto a power line. Sure wires are covered with a non-conductive coating, but that can wear off over time or become torn when something hits it. The vid demonstrates the reason most trees near power lines get cut back away from the lines.
