Haven't seen that one in a while. Last year there was hardly any snow at all, even for Christmas. Imagine Christmas without snow? Dunno about you, but I couldn't. That's if I didn't SEE one, which I did last year and it sucks. It's just not the same for me.
This time however, it's half of November and there's good few inches of snow already around here (technicaly it's over a month till winter), I hope there won't be too much though, that wouldn't be good either.

We had snow here a few days ago... it even stayed for a couple of hours :p But I'm hoping for a nice white Christmas as we haven't had such a thing in about 3 years now. Stupid global warming and the mutation of seasons >.<

Here in Nebraska we haven't even had a serious frost yet... Typically the first real frost occurs in mid October and I remember many a Halloween trick or treat cancelled due to very cold and snowy weather. We've been having unusually warm weather so far this year. I'd typically expect lows in the 20's and highs in the 40's in mid November, not lows in the mid 30s to lower 40's and highs in the upper 50's and lower 60's.

I probably shouldn't be complaining though. It will get cold eventually. Its just wierd how warm its been here.

In my city it snowed 2 or 3 times since I can remember. The last time was the winter 2005. or 2004. I think. I really miss the snow. It was really nice when it snowed. :bigcry: I want snow!
But I went in Austria and on a mountain in my country and I'll go in Italy in January so I will be able to enjoy the snow. But it's not the same. :(

I used to live in Nebraska ^^

My best snow experience I ever had was the first year we lived there, winter of '95 or '96, can't remember. But we got a huge blizzard what gave us 3 feet of snow in one day, school was cancels for 4 days. It was fun to go sledding, building snow tunnels, and having snowball fights with large forts.

BoP, go north about 150 miles to find the greatest snow on earth and the most horrid winter on earth.

Snowmen shiver at my name. Children cower in fear when the snow falls. Yes, I am the Snow. Feel my icy wrath! *Throws Snowball* Winter is awesome in Washington.

This can mean only one thing for where I live.... Typhoon Season! It's been pretty windy and rainy lately so... who knows. Whenever I am visiting the mainland, snow never comes (or it does when I leave... which sucks!) The only snow I felt was at Mt. Rainier and it was melting then. The closest I ever got to fresh snow was frost on the window panes.

    Depressing...

God I hate snow. I think most of you guys will hate snow too if you guys drive.

Last winter, while I was driving back from home, it took me 6 freaking hours to get home because of snow. (Usually takes me approx 35-40 min without snow).

Yea, snow is beautiful but it makes every other part of your life so inconvenient.

    CURSE SNOW!!!

I drive and it doesn't bother me too much, I just drive slower.

My dad likes it because people actually slow down to be careful unlike rain which is just as bad and people don't slow down. I just have to be sure not to lock the brakes, but besides that, driving in snow is not a nuisance to me.

Up in Utah, in the Rockies, the snow comes from the Great Salt Lake, we get 'the lake effect'.....GREAT snow for skiing. However. Utah, being the second driest state in the Union is just HORRID....Windy, freezing....And just abysmal.
