Star Wars: Clan Wars (Movie) Honestly, I thought it was high (suck) below (Average) range, so like a 4 out of 10. It really was not that exciting, battle scenes were repetitive and im sick of hearing about anakin. He goes bad, so what? Why do i have to know what his feelings are? His emotions? We know why he goes bad. I honestly thought it was bad, i was expecting a WAR that involved CLONES. Kinda like a War movie should be, but with Star wars figures. Maybe someday, but not now, but maybe MAYBE, something that will make the audience go "HOLY HELL!" overall, I think it was bad.
I know the only way I'm seeing it is if my friends drag me there, where the whole time I'll pay attention to about half the movie, the rest will be trying to annoy my friends while they're trying to watch. Or if for some reason my parents rent it when it's available. But, I haven't even seen the movie, and I know I'll be giving your rating of it.
I wouldn't call The Clone Wars an Episode ... I also think it was bad. Could nearly have tell that from just the trailer (the music ... why can't they just use the music by John Williams? Why did they replace it with some music from a guy nobody knowns that doesn't fit into any of the Star Wars movies?) and the beginning of the film: No opening crawl? A Star Wars movie without the famous opening crawl? What were they thinking while they did that part? The story was just blah-blah, nothing really interesting happens, no real character development, the ending was clear from the start. I didn't really like the animation style, too. Some of the characters just look weird and sometimes the movements doesn't look real after all. Same here. In some of the videos shown before the film they were talking about "more individual clones with a personality [...]". I haven't seen anything of that in the movie, the different hair styles and the pointless actions on the battlefield (e.g. the clone attacking the B2 droid after his blaster becomes useless or the clone calling after a medic [we already had that in Episode III ...] weren't really individual after all. The clones just died like in the previous films and I didn't care about them because they just were some nameless clones in standardized white armor. Same goes for the droids, the "jokes" became lame after the fifth time (they must have the worst ai every, how are they even able to fight?). It maybe is fun if you are 12 years old or haven't seen any other of the Star Wars films before ...
i haven't seen it but from the ads it looks like its aimmed at a much younger audience (which is a shame because i like star wars)
To be honest i didn't really like episode 2 or 3 much as i liked the older ones. I guess its kinda losing its originallity. The latest movie looks clichéd( i actually haven't seen it yet) judging by the trailer. The same old jedi vs sith with flashy and colourful scenes. (ARGHH ME EYES)
Oh really? It is just 25 years now we keep on hearing about the dark force and the Jedis, those planes big like a truck sometimes, able to go to another planet within an afternoon, and which guys who just wear cloaks can afford the fuel, human-like aliens and all those planets where you can breath and walk and everything without any equipment. There is absolutely no ounce of originality anymore into the whole Star Wars universe for maybe a decade, and everything is just ridiculous series of clichés to me now. The only thing I regret from this universe is that there has been no sequel of the excellent X-wing Alliance. The fact there never has been any project into making a new version of this game is beyond my understanding.
One thing I wanna know is is it the same footage from the clone wars miniseris repackaged for the big screen or actual new stuff.
I see your point What i want to point out are some of those horrible lightsabre scenes. I wonder what really captivates us more, the fight of the battle or the flashy sticks that twirl around in the air.
I actually found this enjoyable. The constant war between two armies seems to be something of a rarety nowadays. I loved watching clones and droids destroying eachother. I felt this was much more action-packed than the other movies.
it was the same scene over and over, i love clones vs droids, but theres too little battle between them, lets see the ARCS in action or something!
i blame battlefront for my interest in widescale battles between droids and clones. hope its nothing like the miniseries (IG droids with lances riding speeder bikes, WTH was that?) i wish there was more large battlescenes in revenge of the sith (or attack of the clones, that seemed to drool on for a while) a few minutes around order 66 wasn't enough for me...
