    "You are trying to log in using a client version not recognized by the Battle.net server." At the log in screen.

    Ever since Patch 14. Is this normal?


    Edit: I tried re-installing the game. Now I just get "Invalid version. Please try again later."

    I believe for some reason the patch is not downloading.

    Fixed it!

    I was having the same problem...just go into internet explorer>internet options> connections> LAN settings> click the circle that says automatically detect network settings...

    let me guess you are a firefox user? I think firefox or somekind of antivirus messes up these setting this should work.

    Then just launch SCII like normal...you will patch...and boom your client version is now recognized...

    I'm running a mac. Ever since that patch, the same thing has happened.

    However, I have a little bit of information you may find helpful: it depends on the connection you have. I was at my university- I've used ethernet and wireless, at various wireless points, to play. Works fine. The moment I go home, however, I get that error message. I use AT&T and HAVE used port forwarding and allow blizzard's battle.net access to the internet. I have a dynamic IP, not sure if that may affect it or not. Either way, if you're encountering this, try moving to somewhere else you'll have access, like the library, a panera, starbucks (they offer free wifi now), or even a friend's house.

    As far as I can tell, reinstalling does nothing.

    Fix will come on july 27th..... Beta is over, wait for the retail!
