Okay guys, I've just enabled functionality for YouTube videos in posts. All you need to do in order to embed a YouTube video is to copy/paste the video code that you can find in YouTube urls, such as IX8KJcjHgS8 from the url http://youtube.com/watch?v=IX8KJcjHgS8 So take that and paste it between the tag. So you get [youtub]IX8KJcjHgS8[/youtub] Notice I removed the Es so you can actually see the thing.
Code tags are your friends I saw this in the Irvine video thread but it didn't load the video for minutes. Looks nice, although the disclaimer is just stating the obvious and so I think it's redundant.
Will it be possible in vB to just copy/paste links like on old forum? The code is still great though, good job!
I think the general opinion on that feature was quite negative since you couldn't post a direct link to the comments for example. You could click the video to go to the site but not everyone figured that out. I think the new tag is great and should stay (without the disclaimer - although if I want to watch the Irvine video now, it doesn't show it anymore).
dude... I got rid of the disclaimer, chillax. No more disclaimer, and it should load plenty quickly right now. You just saw it while I was editing the tag code.
Lol ok its official the next language I will have to learn right after German will be Russian. Thus the expansion of my languages shall be up to 5; English, Japanese, Latin, German *working on it right now*, and Russian. Anyways YAY youtube finnaly back up now all we need back is everything else the old forum used to have...
