Fellow forumers, the sequal is out to zeitgeist, and i have to honestly say that it really has come a way since its previous one, the first 2 mins may be a bit edit heavy but the rest is so well put across with so much evidence that you really cant help but feel quite worried.

I think its important that you watch it with an open mind.

Even if you didnt agree with what the first one said, its point is now too important to not take into your personal question.

    Enjoy

Woah... After watching it, the last few minutes made me think that Zeitgeist is the one that's controlling people. But, the second one in my opinion was not as good as the first one, however it did address many of the money and governmental issues.

As an atheist I was disappointed that there wasn't much in religion! Howev...WOAH Deja Vu!!! Okay, however the stuff it says about religion, people can't refute because there isn't anything to refute! It just states some bad qualities of religion.

Who was that guy speaking in the beginning?

A lot of what they say is true. Makes me really proud of being a communist.

The points made in this video are far more strong that the ones in the first video. I STRONGLY urge people to watch the whole movie before commenting.

    This is some serious stuff.

I'm not going to do what it says because most of the stuff I don't even have... I wouldn't join the military anyways, my life is too valuable to just sell it away.

    Zeitgeist: Addendum

The first movie was great, but this one will blow your mind open.

I want you people to watch it when you can, and then tell me what you think of it, and maybe even form a discussion about it.

Here is a brief description, taken from wiki

Zeitgeist: Addendum, a 2008 documentary film produced by Peter Joseph, is a continuation of the film Zeitgeist, the Movie.[1] The film includes conspiracy theories[citation needed] regarding the Federal Reserve System in the United States, the CIA, corporate America and others, concluding with the advocating of the Venus Project, created by social engineer Jacque Fresco. The movie premiered at the 5th Annual Artivist Film Festival in Los Angeles, California on October 2, 2008, and was released free online on October 4, 2008.[2] According to director Peter Joseph, the film "attempts to locate the root causes of this pervasive social corruption, while offering a solution".[3] In conclusion, Addendum stresses the need for belief systems to embrace the ideas of emergence and interdependence and outlines concrete steps that can be taken to weaken the monetary system[4].

Nice... Well, I already said what I thought about it. Very nice, true, and I am saddened that we aren't spending any money on furthering renewable energy sources and the geothermal energy thing. The maglev train across the ocean will take an awful while and what if a tsunami hits, the train is screwed. Disappointed that there was no religion stuff in there, but there's always next time.

I had some serious problems with this movie. (Notice my sig isn't present for this post)

I like how the film makes it much clearer how the FED is ****ing America. I like the nod to renewable/pollutant free energy that we should already be using. That's about it.

    I don't like:
How the film maker, Peter Joseph, says even honest politicians with peoples best interests in mind are useless (while showing a pic of Ron Paul).
The film says politicians can only make laws. Which amounts to nothing.
    Seriously?!?!
How the **** do they expect to get their silly little Venus project (or anything talked about) off the ground? Santa? Santa's reindeer?
Speaking of the Venus project.... The guy behind it is a loon, he says they would need no laws. Because there would be no money and thus no crime. How about crimes of passion, ****nuts?

Nothing said in this film about religion will change a religious person's mind. The 1st film debunked the Christian mythology. This film pretty much just says religion is bad for all the same reasons most of us atheists already know and most theists deny.

The first film goes off the deep end about half way through to go play with conspiracy theories about 9/11. This one takes it further by focusing the latter half on some old guy no one has or ever will hear of talk about an unrealistic "nice idea". The absurdity helps people who where already skeptical of the good points the movies do make; conclude that this whole thing is for godless liberal crazies.

Worst of all is that the guy puts a ****ing copyright on his piece of ****. If he wants to convince people to shrug off the system why is he in line with it himself? This is a guy who would save a kid from a burning building and throw the little critter to the ground in exchange for a mirror to gussy himself up for the news cameras.

If you, the reader, want to fix the problems raised by this movie do not go to a ****ing viral marketing website that sells 5 dollar DVDs. I don't care if a low rez version is provided for free. Peter Joseph should torrent an ISO of the high rez disk or stop talking about how the monetary system is ruining everything.
Do look into what your elected officials in Congress and the Senate are doing. Call their offices. Join grass roots campaigns for politicians that focus on real issues. Run for office yourself, change minds, jesus ****ing christ use YOUR voice not this hypocrites.

lol? do you really think that they want to make money from this movie? I doubt...

Apart from... I wonder why they deny so virulent the religion, as the message of the movie is somehow similar to that from religion (at least the one I have).

It was mostly just a LONG way of trying to draft people into views. Pretty much a political banter, really.

the most informative part was about the monetary system. I think everyone should be taught that. I didn't know about that, wow. No one ever told me about it. so it was a major shocker to me. Someone is always in debt because of this, like it said. it's just so...wow, you know? Like, i never knew things were like that. and then, I ask my dad about the money bit and he agrees. Definitely a shocker. Never in a thousand years would i have guessed things like this were the basis of our money system. in such case, they're correct, it's doomed to fail.

The 5$ DVDs are just if you want to watch it on TV, no one is making you go buy it. He stuck it up on the internet... How is that wanting to make money? Anyone can watch it for free on the internet. Boy, what happened, you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Sounds like you hate this guy. Also, I'm really hoping that last sentence wasn't intended as a pun.

Well... money is causing all the problems in the world. If there was no money, no one would need to steal anything because everyone would have one. We would be way farther in technology than today because money is holding us back...

Question, if you knew it was a piece of sh*t, then why did you watch it?
Don't you think that is a little harsh? You don't even know the guy. Do you have something against him? You make him sound like a monster. "...throw the little critter to the ground in exchange for a mirror..." I don't think someone would actually do that.
