Zerg Drawings

Disclaimer: I used art I foudn online as the basis for them. I drew them in different poses, however. Please don't hate me forever because not all of them are acurate x.x The zerg, in my opinion, are very hard to draw when you draw free hand and don;t have anything like photoshop to fix it up or add cool effects.So these are just my drawings for a few zerg units.

alright, this is the zergling. Yes, he turned out bad D: I'm sorry. The zergling has been the hardest unit for me to draw so far, besides that bitch kerrigan....but all that aside, here he is, in all his messed up glory =D







This one is the drone. I didn't find many pictures for him soI had to guess a lot of it. I wish I would have drawn him smaller because his tail looks really bad at the end.... >.>;; Still, I like how his claws turned out, and his eyes, too. But not much else of him.








Hydralisk yay! He was the easiest to draw because he seems to have the most art for him. I wanted to draw him in a cool pose, but everybody has him draw in all the poses i could think of >_< so here he is, I drew him freehand, though, like all my others so that has to count for something, right? xD





Mutalisk yay~ His tail and head aren't quite right, but then again neither is the rest of him, but here he is regardless!








I know they aren't the best, this is my frst time drawing them, even thoguh it's not really a good reason. Still, I think they turned out alright and I decided to show them to you guys since people love the zerg xD Please don;t shoot me for my inaccurazy x.x

i liked the name power up better =.=

 

I would like NOT having the PL system...

And these drawings are just awesome.. You have plenty of time don't you? Nowadays I only write down new tactics during school lessons, I don't have any idea to draw.. And I've burnt all my dwawnings when I was in a bad mood so only like 4 is left here up on my cpu

Ha, yes, I have tons of time. I tend to draw when I'm bored. I'd draw more zerg units but they are very hard and things like the ultralisk are very complicated. but i'm very open to other ideas xD

 

If you ever draw an Ultralisk do it justice and skip the horn

i'm trying to draw an ultralisk because i have so much time that i do nothign with *stares at homework* it'll be hard though, i only found a few good pictures to go by.

 

I suggest wieving the gameplay trailer, and stop the scene where the ultralisks show up.. This could be a pretty good help.

It's neck is a bit long, but everything else is cool! Do you plan to shade it?

I'm afraid shading him will screw them up XD
especially because it's a hand drawn thing. i mess up and it's messed up forever x.x

I know what you mean, I used to make a copy of my drawings before shading, and it usually worth the time since when I am in a bad mood it just makes everything worse.. But sometimes it turns out really good, so you should give it a try.
