Btw, did anyone see the God of War 3 developer gameplay walkthrough in E3? it was quite gruesome on one scene...

 

I didn't even watch E3, totally forgot about it.

Yea it is, they glass the planet 'cept for a tiny portion of it cause they want something there, it just so happens to be Doctor Halseys lab, and most of the Spartans are there.

 

They were fighting against wave after wave of Covenants were they?

 

i really should start with Halo someday, i think i'd love the story

There were a bunch of Super MAC guns, the ones that are orbital platforms, that have such a powerful conducting section, that the reactor has to be on the ground, so the are geosyncronized. The Covenant realise they aren't getting past the guns that way, so they stage a diversion so they can drop off ground troops to hit the reactors, that is where the spartans come in.
