I once saw a show more specifically on near asteroid encounters (yeah I was that bored) and it said at one point that their was a 1 in 25 chance of some asteroid hitting earth and killing us all, but hey we got lucky some small thing happended and it was moved down to like 1 in 10000* a lot chance of us being teh owned by an asteroid

I remember hearing stuff about an asteroid almost hitting the world on TV. I think it was in the late 90's that an asteroid can within a few thousand miles of smacking into the face of the earth. Scary to think about isn't it?

 

actually they say there is a really good chance that a asteroid wil cime near the earth in 2028? and that the earths gravity could change the asteroids gravity just enough. Then the next time when it comes around in 2034? it will hit the earth. the percentage is small, but it has the best chance in a long time... I think i am refering to the one that the Watcher was talking about, but the chance is still pretty good.

 

Small, but still large enough for scientists to take the threat seroiusly and try to find ways to change the orbit of asteroids and look for ways to use lasers and rockets to destroy large asteroids or clumps of asteroids.

Reign of the devil begins - Now theres a guy at my school who belives that he is half demon half human, In 2012 he will finsih his ritual of summoning the devil and the reign of the devil will begin.

modern society colapses and a golden age arises - Due to privateparts obsession with calling people retards he will eventually call all the world leaders retards which will result in te world leaders being emotionally crippled, this will cause the breakdown in society.

One person changes the entire world forever by bringing the world together - This one will be my doing, because im so uterly sexy the world will unify, having a global langauge and wrshiping my skill in the form of sexiness.

Aliens contact us - This has already occured, the media as we know it has been contacted by aliens, however the upducted humans were kpt in the alian motherships and only the probes were sent back to earth, we know them as Reporters.

Absolutly nothing - this won't happen due to technological and scientific descoveries, also One person changes the entire world forever by bringing the world together will occur if nothing occurs.

Starcraft takes over the world and it turns out Protoss and Zerg actually exist - This will prove that contact with aliens has been established already, due to blizzard knowing exactly what they look like, maybe blizzard are the aliens?

Global Warming - This will NEVER occur, we have air conditioners to prevent this lol

World War 3/ WW3 - America will end up alone in Iraq since were all sick of helping them there, this is the reason there WONT be a ww3, it will just be America vs Iraq, and statisticly speaking America will lose because they have never won a war without the assistance of another countries military.

 

Um...US Civil War doesn't count? I don't remember any other country's military being there. Sure we traded with other countries (who doesn't) but we never received troops from them. We usually had allies with us because before the 50's the US would stay out of wars at all costs and only joined in if we were attacked or our allies were in great danger. And in WW2, to win a two front war, even with allies, is a great thing to accomplish, so don't talk bad about the US forces, plz!
