wait... so what's the point of corruptors then? if they had to tone it down, i would have thought they would at least be able to corrupt biological units...

Corruptors, at this moment, has this ability to stop a building to cease functioning for... I think 30 seconds.

That and they evolve into Brood Lords.

A list of confirmed Zerg units/mechanics
    _________________________________________________

    Units:

    Drone
No new information is available on this Zerg resource-gatherer.

    Overlord
    - Can no longer detect invisible/burrowed units.
    - Can generate small areas of creep

    Overseer
    - Evolves from: Overlord
    - Larger vision range than the Overlord, can detect invisible/burrowed units.
-can spawn changelings, which turn into a zergling, marine, or zealot seen as "allied" to the enemy.

    Zergling
Perhaps the one unit that remains very similar to its StarCraft counterpart is the Zergling. The Zergling is still the base unit of the swarm, a small, cheap, yet fast attacker that can quickly overwhelm the opponent.

    Baneling
    - Evolves from: Zerglings
    - Explodes on contact with enemy units or buildings

The Baneling is a new evolution of the Zergling. Working with similar attacking mechanics to the StarCraft Scourge, it uses powerful internal chemistry to create a devastating explosive reaction. Since the original gameplay videos of SCII the main change in the Baneling seems to be its speed. Whereas it used to be a rather slow moving unit, barely keeping up with a Colossus, it is now a fairly fast unit able to keep pace with a running (though not charging) Zealot.

    Hydralisk
    -very good range
-very slow off creep, decent speed on creep
-now tier 2 and costs 2 food

    Mutalisk
The mutalisk remains a swift Zerg flier that is armed with glave wurms to hit multiple targets. Nothing evolves from the mutalisk

    Roach
    - Ground unit that can regenerate HP at an incredibly fast rate underground
    - can move underground (when upgraded)
    - Has high health and low range(3)
-costs 2 food, tier 1, ground attack only

    Queen
    - Created directly from the Hatchery without larva (can't upgrade burrow/lair/overlords while building)
    - Can expand creep with creep tumors. Creep tumors can spawn one additional creep tumor
    - can heal (transfuse) a friendly unit or building for 150 hp
    - can spawn 4 larva on a hatchery
    - range 2 ground attack, long range air attack

    support unit for the base

    Infester
    - As a battle support unit, does not have any attacks.
    - Can move while burrowed.
    - Can mind control enemy units within 9 range for 12 seconds. channeled ability
    - Can cast Fungal growth: damages units in an area and prevents them from moving for a moment
    - Can spawn infested terran: short(ish) life, slow movement, but still a unit that is free of mineral cost

    Corrupter
    - An air-to-air combat unit.
    -morphs into the brood lord
-casts corrupt, which targets a single unit and causes them to take 20% more damage from any source

    Brood Lord
    - Evolves from corruptor
    - Has very long range, and powerful against ground units.
-creates one broodling every time it attacks, which are essentially weaker zerglings that has a short, yet effective, timed life.
-zerg siege unit, good against turtling opponents.

    Ultralisk
    - Can now burrow.
    - Now has splash damage

    Nydus Worm
This transport unit is the Zerg's primary means of bypassing cliffs and terrain obstacles, and can be surfaced anywhere on the map where a Zerg player has vision. Further detail about how they function has yet to be released, however the exact workings of Nydus Worms will probably remain just as mysterious as the Nydus Canals from StarCraft: Brood War.

    Buildings:

    Hatchery
The Zerg main base. Can be upgraded to the Lair and Hive. Serves as the location where larva spawn and where the queen can be constructed.
-if a lair is owned, burrow, overlord movement, and overlord drop upgrades are available from all hatcheries (or higher tier)

    Lair
Tier two Hatchery. Offers upgrades to Overlords (drops and speed) and burrow
    -allows production of:
    -spire
    -hydralisk den
    -infestor's building
    -nydus worm

    Hive
Tier three Hatchery. Necessary for unlocking all build and upgrade options.
    allows:
    -ultralisk den
    -greater spire
-level 3 attack and armor upgrades

    Spawning pools
Lets you build Zerglings and offers Zergling upgrades (increased movement speed and attack speed).

    Extractor
Built on vespene gas deposits to make them accessible for mining.
-4 gas extracted at a time, 25 minerals to make.
-bases generally have 2 geysers now

    Evolution Chamber
Contains research upgrades for ground armor, ground ranged attack, and ground melee attack

    Roach Den
Enables the spawning of roaches, and contains roach upgrades (increased attack and armor ).

    Banelings Nest
Lets Zerglings morph into Banelings, contains Baneling upgrades (speed)

    Hydralisk Den
Enables the spawning of Hydralisks, contains Hydralisk upgrades (increased range)

    Spire
Allows for the spawning of Mutalisks and Corruptors. Contains Mutalisk upgrades (increased weapons and armor) and Corruptor upgrades (increase weapons and armor). Can be upgraded to a Greater Spire to allow evolution of brood lords

    Greater Spire
Unlocks the brood lord evolution (by corruptors)

    Nydus Worm
Builds a tunnel from the build location to any location the player has vision of. No creep required for tunnel exit.

    Ultralisk cavern
Lets you create Ultralisks and offers Ultralisk upgrades

Anyone know if Glial Reconstitution increases attack rate or is it just movement speed?

just move speed, but still definitely worth it.

it -does- increase damage via the move speed bonus because you can get a better arc set up when you enter combat and more of your units can attack at once. (not an actual mechanical damage bonus, but a tactical move that will cause your units to be more effective)
