    Would you rather he had started a new thread with the same topic? Great picture though.

    I think that there'd be enough invented and to invent and to do and to try to last somebody 1000+ years. Most people spend most of their life in one or two lines of work. In 1000 years, you could try ten to twenty different jobs. Even for hobbies, people tend to have less than 10. And there are hundreds of hobbies to try. Plus you have research growing exponentially, which would allow for plenty of further interest in life.

    Probably not but isnt this against the rules to necro post? If it isnt then great cause there are plenty of threads I would like to ressurect.

    I'd only call it a necro post if the thread is A) on the second page or B) more than a month old. However, if the thread is less than a page long (with the default number of posts per page), the requirements for A and B are halved: A) in the second half of the first page, or B) more than 2 weeks old.

    I wouldn't live any longer than 1000 years though. People need to take the leap that is death.
