Use three nydus worms in the mineral line. First one loaded with roaches as a meat shield. Second with banelings to soften the defenders, and finally the last nydus with zerglings to mop up. :good:

Definitely M&M groups should the medic return. Also, the ghosts will be VERY annoying because of the snipe ability and its calldowns.

Gawd, I think Zealots are going to be a hell of a lot more annoying now. Jon even called them the new cracklings. :good:

Yea i agree with juggernaut. A unit is only "annoying" if you can't counter it correctly. For example, dark templars are annoying if you don't prepare for them, but in most cases they're pretty easy to kill. From most of the posts here, people think a unit that can do a lot of destruction is annoying.

However, a unit that i think will make me feel very annoyed is probably the roach. I hate to see my units have no effect at all. For example, if I send in a zealot to attack a roach and the roach kill it, I expect the roach to be at least wounded, but it will regenerate. For that same reason I hate medics.

agian, what is said earlier on the the topic, but i also agree about roaches, the roaches massed Behind enemy lines with the nydus, you have a loss of mineral mining, and a wall of high regenerators

Starcraft II is already a game that will have much more diverse potential for strategies, micro, and build orders. It simply requires that you scout more and be able to react to what your opponent is doing more effectively. [insulting text removed] Diverse strategy potential = good for game play.

Its not neccessarily that people can't handle these units, its more that they dont want to because they find them to be more then a little painful to be dealt with. Like taking out the trash, but any way, heres my list.
    SC1
    Protoss
Zealot- Even if i get a tank and bunker grid up it rarely seems to matter , my enemy always seems to be able to mass produce these very quickly.
Dark Templar- Protoss equivalent of Solid Snake, i rarely get a detector up on my line, its my fault, but im usually focusing my resources on upgrades and more infantry and tanks.
    Zerg
Overlord w/ transport researched- they're able to get past my defensive line and into my base. Stupid meat balloons.
Scourge- Why wouldn't you hate these little critters?
Mutalisks- Glaive worm hops around, enough said.
Guardian- long range air bomber, they take out my line always, unless i have some wraiths, then its gemini missiles away!
Lurker- This buggers responsible for the deaths of so many infantrymen. Those poor squads of marines. Countered easily enough, except when you run out of power at the comsat, most likely due to scouting efforts.
    Terran
Any combinaton of infantry whether m&m or goliaths and scvs combined with siege tanks.

Everybody just listed almost every unit in sc1 and 2 (all of them together) like "annoying" units.
my question is what units arent "annoying"?

It's annoying units that can annoy you, not necessarily cause mass destruction. Reapers are weak and can annoy you just by attacking you and then running away.

I say the new overlord is going to be an annoying unit, just because of its new 'slime' ability that makes it impossible for someone to mine from minerals that's been 'slimed'. So yea...completely halt expansion even for a couple of seconds can be devestating.

enemy zealots are annoying the computer produces them way faster than you can(even when you have more probes, i've looked) they win too early.

if i'm terran its DTs (i always forget to detect with terran).

OK mine is going to have a combination of units starting with near begining game.

    zerg:

early game- attack with around 12-20 zerglings and 4-5 roaches, if you don't focus fire on the roaches then they will live forever, if you do focus fire then the lings with rip EVERYTHING APART BWAHAHAH HAHAH HAHA hack cough cough sorry.... add in some banelings and you have a destroyed base easy

midgame- a mix of lurkers corruptors and hydras. the mix of the three could be a very nice defense, the corruptors make all air just big turrets and the lurkers (stationary AOE turrets them selfs) will add extra anti ground and then the hydras balance.

that adds a good question, if a corruptor and a hydra attack at the same time and the unit reaches 0 hp, will it become a turret or just destroyed? does it mattter who did most damage or who hit it last?

end game- easy, ultras and roaches with guards and hydras.

    terran:

    early- M&M rush aaaahhhh

    reaver rush aaaaahhhh

mid- siege tanks and vikings and ghosts

    nomad rush aaaaahhh

end- BCs and bansheees with a pod or two of M&Ms

    toss

i haven't read much on them i don't like em much... so uh... MOTHER SHIP AL;AKSDJF;LASNDFJNASDFNASHDFJH

    then stalkers omgoodnes pwn

carriors + pheonix "momy mommy make it stop! please make it stop!"

    Yes! Very true.
If your massing 'goons. Marines and crew, hyrdalisks and ESPECIALLY Zergling...say goodnight.
    Such a waste of minerals.
On works too. Heavily packed around a few minerals or gas.

I want to use a strat I saw boxer do, cept with Roaches. Fast tech to burrow and Roaches, get them in the enemy base, split into 3 groups, and as the Zealots or whatever attack one group, burrow them and attack something else with the others.
But this would be trumped with correct use of Stalkers, so maube its best to stick with Zerglings, then again as burrow is now tier 2 that makes it even worse. Man Zerg are losing good stuff...
