Anyone here been in the military?

I haven't been in the military but I am surrounded by it a lot due to where I live and the occupations of my friends and family. I also have a friend that is shipping to Iraq in a week or so.

I would say this though, I respect anyone that servers in any military and can be nice to hear things from the soldiers first hand about experiences and so forth.
