Having high activity isn't nessecarily a good thing, Fenix is in fact the only global mod to have an activity greater than 50%... (However this could just be saying something about our mods...).

^ True, and yet it isn't.

    www.theadminzone.com

Since I admin another forum, (technical stuff) making an account there was the obvious thing to do. I found that there were multiple discussions on mod/admin activity. Lots of people said that mods/admins who post a lot are unprofessional. Others say that it's good to stay involved, especially if you're interested in the "theme" of your forum. I think that last thing applies everywhere, but especially for sites like this one. This is by far the most stable community I've joined so far. Part of that has to do with good and active mods, and an admin who's truly dedicated and interested in Starcraft. I've seen other sites going down the drain because they were bought by people who didn't really care for the subject, but were only looking for a good investment.

So in short: in my opinion, active posting = good for mods as well. As long as at least half of those posts is of good quality, obviously. We all make spammy posts from time to time, but mods should be serious outside of space junk. At least in the gaming boards, since that's more or less the foundation of this forum. Oh, and ijffdrie of course. ;)

^ Whoops, not really that short. Oh well, I have nothing better to do anyways.

Note to self: find more stuff to do, or work slower.

Note to admins: give back the notepads, 'cause notes to self aren't that private in public threads. :p

Lets see here we have an admin who is dedicted to the site and enjoys its theme. A sudo admin who is about 3 steps away from being a full on lurker. We have 1 global mod who is extremely active, 1 global who generally active several globals who are rarely active, and a few section mods who have very little real power oe of which is very active and the others who are pretty much non-existent.

I think we run the gamet, I wonder if you can guess who is who though.

    Section mods:
-BoP is pretty much non-existant in introduce yourself.
-Can_2, Shadow[E] and Grlyph are gone from the clans.
    - Flyintiger is gone, and his section mod position is useless anyway, since the whole board is locked.
    - Darkone is active
    - Imagine is back, I hope

    Globals:
    - Kuraikozo, Nikzad, Ych and 10-Neon are gone/rarely on. Especially Nikzad.
    - You sir, are a semi-lurking/admin/mod combo
    - ItzaHexGor, Fenix and Jon are one the forum avarage, or above it.
Jon obviously has more to do, being the main admin and all that. Pretty dedicated.

Don't even get me started on Hyperion. :p

Lol, you have it easy. Exact dates of last activity are in the admin cp. Hehe. By the way: care to elaborate on what the "no signature" forum leader is? Saw that a while ago.

The forum isn't modded very well in the first place and a lot of mods actually break some of the forum rules themselves. I mean I don't really mind at all personally but compared to other sites I'm on this one is pretty care free in all aspects.

It was an attempt by Jon to deal with a problem that was ultimately dealt with by a ban anyways, apparently he forgot to remove the usergroup from the usergroup list.

Pancake I am not going to even touch that one...

How is this forum badly moderated? It's pretty clean, imo. There's just the need for a mod in another timezone. I believe we have only 1 global outside of Amerika, correct?

Typical. Can't understand a word of that Aussie language you're throwing at us, haha.

Haha, well that's hardly true blue Aussie slang there. Don, or 'to don', is just a normal word, no slang there. Just means 'puts on', as in, puts on clothes. Sunnies is just short for sunglasses. I'd be surprised if that was unheard of anywhere else in the world. Anywhere else English speaking, that is.

Well, people here know how to speak English pretty good. It's just that we don't know nearly as much English words as Dutch words. I keep learning every day, though. Television and the internet has helped me more then 6 years of English lessons at school... Worthless crap.

Nikzad I don't think is in the US either. Do you mean America the continent? Cause I'm pretty sure that YCH lives in Canada, so if you mean the continent, then he is here. Otherwise no.

I meant the continent. For the timezones, obviously. :)
