The giant squid was also a myth at one point.

The most important thing is to keep an open mind. You should accept that something you have held to be true all your life could potentially be discovered to be completely wrong tomorrow and something you once thought existed only in stories could have basis in reality.

The truth of the matter is that scientists don't know ****. They THINK a lot of things are a certain way and have theories but none of it is guaranteed to be true.

Exactly! though... i'm going to disagree with "scientists don't know ****." part, but i'm not going to get into details about that.
anyways, onto the most recent "evidence" for bigfoot:This recent finding maybe simply another hoax to add to massive pile of hoaxes that surround bigfoot, the people that found it made a video and posted it on youtube, where they interviewed a "scientist" who then turned out to be a fake.... They are still confident that their specimen is in fact bigfoot, hopefully we can actually get something out of this....

The Giant Squid's a completely different situation. It was never revealed to be a hoax, as it obviously wasn't one.

I'm aware you've got to keep an open mind, but that doesn't include still believing in things that were originally hoaxes or have next to no proof backing them up.

Lastly, I don't see why you're attacking scientists here. Why're you having a go at them exactly? On top of that, why're you having a go at their theories for not being guaranteed to be true. That's kinda what a theory is.

    Exactly my point.
Also I wasnt attacking scientists at all. I was merley pointing out that no knowledge is certain. I personally don't believe in bigfoot but I still accept that it could be real.

Your point is that theories aren't certain?

Also, knowledge is certain. Theories may not be, but laws are. However, stuff like that doesn't really apply to these situations.

My point is to be open minded and accept that nothing is certain.

You guys still haven't addressed the issue about that famous video I told you about, I forgot the name of it though. Why aren't you addressing it?

As far as I'm aware, the most famous Bigfoot video was either admitted or revealed to being a hoax, but I might be thinking of another one.

In any regard, was the video you're talking about confirmed as being legit? If not, what's to address?

Yeah whatever, cause bigfoot walks perfectly like a human, swinging it's arms, and wears boots.

Theory of Gravity, there is currently no such thing as 'Law of Gravity', and I know that gravity works.
Atomic Theory, looks like it worked pretty good on Japan for being only a theory.

Remember, a scientific theory is much more than a normal theory, as its based on tons of evidence collected from different experiments; but it can't be called a law until they can be sure thier definition of it is 100% accurate, which is nearly impossible to do. The only scientific law I know of is "The Law of Thermodynamics".

About Bigfoot, I'm optomistic. It's possible, but there isn't any evidence that proves he exists. What we need is a body.

The Laws of Conservation of Momentum and Energy are laws, although the energy one is basically the First Law of Thermodynamics. There is no Law of Bigfoot or Theory of Bigfoot, but there are hypotheses that a Bigfoot-like thing exists.

Anyway, any Bigfoot video is probably a hoax, but the idea of undiscovered species of apes is plausible. I don't think we need to call any of them Bigfoot or Yeti, though.

For a creature that evaded us for so many years to walk just like that while being watched? Sorry, no

I believe Bigfoot exists... Like, it IS possible that we havent found evidence yet...
It might also be like this, Bigfoot lived, some years ago and then the spicie (Spelling help?) died out for some reason and the corpses where called, Monkey coorpses...

Of course it's possible that it exists (actually bigfoot is the one responsible for faking the moon landing), it's just that the video isn't a viable evidence
