Well, if a sighting was proven authentic, we would be arguing about whether it was faked or not. And I didn't confuse inconclusive with conclusive. There are hoaxed, and then inconclusive, and then real. And what about that video? We haven't even talked about that video yet. How could that have been faked?

If conclusive physical evidence was found we would not be arguing.

The video was clearly faked, 'bigfoot' walks very human likes and furthermore, why would such an elusive creature casually walk past a human casually swinging its arms, only looking back once? Is it a monkey suit..

No... If a sight was proven to be authentic, then it's been proven to be authentic. I know, it's an extremely difficult concept, eh? But you you know what it means? It means it's been proven to be authentic. That means it's not a fake. If something's proven to be authentic, then how can you argue it's fake? The point is that there have been no sightings that have been proven to be authentic. There are fake ones, and there are inconclusive ones. And don't assume that an inconclusive report means there's a good chance of it existing, because it's not that they can't prove it's fake, it's usually because it's a dodgy report. For example, I'd said I'd seen a Triantiwantigongalope. How on Earth would you prove that wrong?

Yes, there are hoaxes, inconclusive reports and real sightings, as in, they do exist as classifications, but there have been no real sightings of Bigfoot. All sightings and reports have been either proven to be fake or have been inconclusive. Seriously, read what GMG said.

As for the video, I'm not sure which you're referring to, but if it's the famous one that overmind described, then that one was definitely a hoax. Seriously, how is it so hard to fake a Bigfoot sighting?

Yeah, that was the one I was thinking of. I'd been told it was a prank, and thought that was pretty much the general consensus.

...Were you referring to that same video when you said that?

Yes the video, which revived this thread. Also, you said it looked like the sole of a shoe, but notice how it looks exactly the same color as the surrounding. It may have been some things just sticking onto the foot.

I would bring up religion, but it would spark even more arguments which would lead this thread to be locked like my blood topic...

In that case, it would be an argument against what you're trying to say... People believing in stuff which isn't proven, which is exactly what you're doing.

    Also...
    That was uncalled for... :(

Omg!! my bad... Really, I didn't see it!! roflmao!!! hahahahahah, that'll keep me laughing for minutes!!! I am so bad and I don't even know it...

And yes, my point would be: Why do so many people believe in God while not a truly down to earth situation.

Comfort, because they're brought up believing it, and because of factors they cannot explain. I fail to see how this helps you with your Bigfoot is real case. Does that mean the Triantiwantigongalope's real as well?

    ...Is it a god?

No, but it's something more believable if it's on earth with photos and video shots of it.

If those photos and videos are, at most, inconclusive, then they're of no more value than a quote from a schizophrenic mushroom's alleged sighting of Bigfoot off the coast of Zanzibar.

    ...Just putting it out there.
