My first impressions of the lore characters:

Don't like Matt Horner, Valerian Mengsk and Dr. Ariel Hanson. Far too posh and look like absolute snobs. Not so much Hanson, but Mengsk especially. Horner's alright I guess, I guess he just looks like he's doing his job, but Mengsk...

Love the look of Gabriel Tosh and Swann. Tosh especially, and there's a campaign screenshot of him with a switch blade or something, which just looks epic. Swann just looks like a great character in general. I can basically tell he's gonna be a great guy.

Keep in mind these are my personal opinions of the characters so far. They're all great, and they're all really believable characters which is absolutely awesome, these are just my first impressions of what they'll be like. I have an immediate hatred for Mengsk, as he's just way to posh for my liking, and Hanson and Horner are actually alright I guess, they still look posh, but they don't really come across as snobs themselves. Tosh looks absolutely awesome, but his appearance offers little insight. I can't really see if he's going to be someone you get to like or not, so I guess I'll just have to wait for the game, or at least for a character page on him on the official site. Lastly, Swann just looks like an absolute champ.

Just quickly, is Tosh a Marine or a Ghost? Something gave me the impression he's a Ghost, but I can't really put my finger on what it was exactly, as he's wearing Marine armour and not carrying any special sort of rifle. Maybe it was the campaign screenshot that gave me that impression.

 

Tosh is a Ghost. He went to Ops school with Kerrigan and Nova (this is outlined in one of the cinematics shown).

At such high resolutions the flaws in our logo really shows

Great compilation of all of the info.

We've got most of the information on our Blizzcon page and the images in our Photos, Artwork, and Screenshot sections in case there is anything that doesn't work over here.

 

this new Terran unit (nighthack?) if you paint it gold its a perfect protoss unit, this design doesnt fit in Terrans arsenal imho.

I think the nighthawk is perfect. I love the design and color scheme. The only thing I would add is the floodlights from the previous model. I really liked those. It make it look like a real scouter unit.

 

The Dark Templar portrait looks a little bland, a bit moreso when compared to the Zealot portrait we've seen before. I'm a bit disappointed with the Archon too - the light seems to be comiing from all directions. I liked the BW archon portraits were pretty much black except for the eyes.

 

Jon I don't know what server you are hosted from but.... DUDE! I'm downloading at 500k per second. Almost faster than downloading from Micro$oft web site.

Seems like the hosting server is in my freaking room! =D
