self-made riddle, took like 20 minutes to come up with the rhymes


a starving city, men in mobs, going mad
a jewel not in rough, but in a pile of crap
a little boy king sits high on his horse
those who claim royalty knock on his doors
neither one cares how the city shall fare
they only seek to make the throne and castle their lair
a starving city, gone mad with hunger, anger, and fear
a city once shining, it's destruction is near
now tell me, wise maester, for who and for why
will the city folk live for, and for whom willingly die?
