here's the riddle again:

i came, i saw, i'll conquer all,
as i rise up, my foes shall fall
once i achieve this greatest feat,
i'll only embrace my great defeat.


HINT:

1. it's not a person
2. the second line doesn't really have to mean that something or someone has to die. just think of it as something falling
3. it's a very simple thing.

OMG! No!!!! I think he got it! Damnit! I have been thinking about this puzzle for like 3 days now! I think he got it on his first try! >

 

1) Teeter-Totters and Scales don't conquer anything
2) Scales don't achieve anything
3) How do you defeat a scale?


I'm thinking... Balloon. Helium Balloon. Maybe even Hot Air Balloon.

mmm... I guess it´s a bee...just to bring something new

Bees can fly high and see everything ( conquer all ),
so they can fly down ( fall?? )
If you disturb a bee, it can prick you with it´s sting. ( greatest feat )
But when that happens, the bee dies ( great defeat )

hehe
