But he does not actually offer it, he demands it out of loyalty to himself. If he said "Do it, and i'll give you plenty of land and bitches LoL!11!!!111" then sure, but he says "Do it because i'm your lawful leader"

i think he will just kill them, all, he is a common man, and he doesnt care about all their gifts. or maybe he will kill them all in some order, like to get all the rewards, or 2.

okay since its been a long time my quotes haven't been answered, i'll reveal it and add a new one.

"if God wants to be glorified, why did he make me so small and weak?"

this line is from david talking to his dad in the movie "facing the giants." you guys should watch more independent films. :)

"gentlemen, though you deserve to be champions doesn't mean they're gonna give it to you. sometimes, you gotta take what's yours."

this line is from coach carter talking to his basketball team during a game in the movie "coach carter."

"who's baby is this? who's baby is this?! not my baby."

this is from mays gilliam during his election campaign in the movie "head of state."

"you can do it! cut his freakin' balls off!"

well this is from adam sandler in the movie "the animal."

"we know where you live. in fact, we live where you live."

if i'm not mistaken, from ralph the cockroach in the movie "joe's apartment."

"ooohhhh you keep notes so that you won't forget. you see that's one fine example why you're in management and i'm not, you go boy."

this is from oscar talking tohis manager, sykes, in the movie "shark tale."

    -----------------------------

so this quote still stands because it was posted just days ago.

    for 250 minerals:

"you and your men are the biggest mistake in the history of NASA."

    here's the new one.

    for 250 minerals:

"phenomenal cosmic power!........ to itty bitty living space."

same rules, state the character and movie.

the king with the crown might rule the kingdom but in that room at that particular time the king has no power what so ever, his fate resides fully with the man with the sword.

The other quote is from the movie Armageddon. I think Bruce Willis said that. Or maybe Ben Affleck? I'm not sure...

it's different because in the scenario described in your riddle, the sellsword could kill the king if he wishes, and the king wouldn't be able to stop him.

where as in "real world", the sellsword wouldn't be able to kill the king, even if he wishes.

if the sword is the power in the room, it should be the power in the real world

in the room there are no soldiers so the king cannot command his soldiers to defend him, that's the difference between the room and the "real world"

therefore in the room the sellsword is the most powerful person. hence like i said, who die depends entirely upon sellsword, and who he feels like killing at that moment, if anyone.

I think the sellsword represents... The army or something like that and if the army decides to revolt against the king, it will be the power, for the king is powerless without the army.
